Host Matt Perrault recaps a difficult 0-5 start to the week (0-2 Tuesday, 0-3 Monday), acknowledging the “post-football blues” and a cold streak in both college basketball and NBA props. He explains that due to unforeseen circumstances, the debut of the new College Basketball show was delayed until next Tuesday.

For Wednesday, he focuses exclusively on the NBA, navigating a “wonky” schedule ahead of the All-Star break with numerous key injuries (LeBron, Steph Curry, etc.) and a lack of effort across the league.

NBA: Knicks vs. 76ers

Total: He analyzes the matchup in Philadelphia, noting the first game there went under while two in New York went over. NBA: Trail Blazers vs. Timberwolves

Total: He identifies a strong trend for Minnesota at home, where they are 9-19 to the under (a “dead under team” at home, despite recent exceptions). Conversely, Portland has hit five straight overs at home but is now starting a road trip. Citing historical trends and Minnesota’s home defensive nature, he follows the trends and takes a position on the Game Total.

NBA (Hard Rock Bet of the Day): Spurs vs. Warriors

Spread: He breaks down a contrarian play involving the Spurs on a back-to-back after blowing out the Lakers. With the Warriors missing key stars (Steph Curry mentioned as out), he finds the line suspiciously low given San Antonio’s dominance. He argues that Golden State rarely gets points at home and tends to overachieve in front of their crowd. Suspecting a “trap” or “smelly” line, he fades the public road favorite and takes a position on the Point Spread with the home underdog.
