For the last time this season, there will be multiple baseball games on a Thursday, giving us more chances to cash in on our MLB home run props with one play from both Championship Series tilts.
Chase DeLauter has proven to be one of the Guardians’ most important bats throughout this postseason run, and he is a great value play to stay hot in Game 3. I also add a play on a Dodgers slugger looking to add to his 10-career postseason home run total.
Read on for my top two MLB home run props for Thursday, October 15th.

Chase DeLauter (+660)
Chase DeLauter ignited Cleveland’s comeback victory in Game 1 by putting the team on the board with his first career postseason home run. He reached base safely four times in that game and finished a triple shy of the cycle. After doubling and producing the team’s only extra-base hit and RBI in Game 2, he has hit safely in six straight games with four RBI over that span.
DeLauter ranks in the 81st percentile in hard-hit rate, the 95th percentile in chase rate and the 93rd percentile in whiff rate. That makes him the only Statcast qualifier in MLB to rank in the 80th percentile or better in all three categories. He is also one of six hitters with a .285/.360/.450 slash line or better this season (minimum 400 plate appearances).
Griffin Jax allowed 10 of his 15 home runs this season to left-handed batters, and his OPS was 73 points higher in that split. While the righty allowed just one home run in 20.2 innings in September, a rust factor could set in, as this is only his second appearance since September 26th.
Kyle Tucker (+700)
I didn't want to put too much stock in Kyle Tucker's career numbers against Dustin May, as the Brewers righty is expected to only throw a couple of innings today. But Tucker is the only current Dodgers slugger with three hits off May and the only one with an OPS better than 1.000 (minimum two at-bats).
Tucker hit his 10th career postseason home run (and his first as a Dodger) in the first playoff game of the season. And even though he had failed to homer in the final eight games of the regular season, he was still slashing an outstanding .344/.411/.703 with six home runs and 13 RBI over the previous 18 games.
