Friday’s Best MLB Player Prop Bets

    (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Spencer Steer Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)

Over the last month, the Reds’ right-hander outfielder has slugged a .234 ISO and wOBA of .317 against his last 71 righties. Spencer Steer has struck out below 20% of the time and has hit 25.5% of fly balls with 25.5% of line drives against righties over the last month.

Tonight, he’ll take on Michael Lorenzen of the Royals. Lorenzen has allowed a .213 ISO and wOBA of .403 to his last 53 righties. He’s also given up a 46.2% hard contact rate and has induced below 36% of ground balls against righties in that time.

In addition, Lorenzen, a righty, has struck out only 17% of righties over the last 30 days.

Steer has plenty of power potential against Lorenzen. Let’s take him to earn at least two total bases.

Ryne Nelson Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+105)

Ryne Nelson has dominated over the last month. The right-hander has only struck out 19.1% of batters this season. However, over the previous month, Nelson has struck out nearly 30% of batters and has held his last 121 batters to a .118 ISO and wOBA of .273.

He’ll go up against a Rays lineup that has already struck out 27.4% of the time against righties over the last month. Beyond that, the Rays’ projected lineup has hit just a .110 ISO and wOBA of .270.

Nelson will likely put together another quality outing against a below-average Rays offense that has struggled to make contact against righties.

After all, Tampa Bay only has two batters with an ISO of better than .125 over the last month against righties. The projected lineup has just two batters with a wOBA of better than .276 against righties in the previous 30 days.

Jeff McNeil Over 1.5 Total Bases (+135)

Jeff McNeil had struggled throughout the first half of the season. But he’s found his groove in the second half. McNeil has smashed a .313 ISO and wOBA of .422 against his last 74 righties.

Tonight, he’ll take on Miami’s Roddery Munoz. Munoz is a righty pitcher who has watched 156 lefties hit a .371 ISO and wOBA of .441 against him.

Over the last month, Munoz has also allowed a .302 ISO and wOBA of .411. He’s been dreadful against lefties all year, earning just 18.6% of strikeouts and has allowed 38.7% of fly balls.

Munoz has also allowed 55.6% of hard contact to lefties and has earned just 7.2% of swinging strikes against lefties. Meanwhile, McNeil has smashed 51.9% of hard contact and has hit 35.2% of fly balls with only 25.9% of ground balls. He’s lifting hard contact against righties over the last month.

Let’s look for McNeil to connect with a couple of base hits or at least one extra-base hit.
