Jared Jones Over 2.5 Earned Runs (-121)
Thursday's action gets started in the City of Brotherly Love, where the Pirates will turn to Jared Jones to try to salvage a series split against the Phillies.
It has been a wonky season for Jones, having only made six starts across 25 innings. The right-hander hasn't been serviceable, going 1-1 with a 5.76 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP. He has conceded three or more earned runs in half of his outings.
Considering the matchup against this mighty Phillies lineup, I'm looking to fade Jones in the matinee clash. It's a smaller sample size, but Philadelphia's current roster is 6-for-20 (.300) against Jones with two home runs.
The Phillies are rolling right now, ranking ninth in wOBA (.346) and 11th in ISO (.177) over the last week. I'll bet that they scratch across three runs against the struggling Pittsburgh hurler.
Jacob Misiorowski Over 9.5 Strikeouts (+102)
This is my squarest bet in a while, but sometimes in sports betting you just can't overthink things and must back the stars. There's a route to Jacob Misiorowski racking up 10+ strikeouts against the Reds in their closeout game on Thursday afternoon.
The right-handed flamethrower leads the league in punchouts (146) and boasts a filthy 13.27 K/9 rate this season. He has reached double-digit strikeouts in five of his 16 starts this season.
While that last trend may not be too reassuring, it is worth noting that Misiorowski will take on the most strikeout-prone team in the Majors. The Reds lead the league in strikeout rate (24.9%) in 2026. Finally, Misiorowski has limited Cincinnati to 2-for-11 (.182) in the head-to-head department, with six of those 11 at-bats (54.5%) ending in strikeouts.
Jo Adell Under 0.5 Hits (+114)
Los Angeles' Jo Adell has been fine this season, entering the day ranked 98th in batting average (.246) and 47th in RBI (45). Things haven't gone too well for the Halos outfielder as of late, though, as he's hitting just .211 over the last seven days.
Adell has gone hitless in two of his last three games, as well as in six of his last 12 outings. At plus-money, I think it's worth playing Adell to go hitless in this one.
The 27-year-old outfielder will be running into Seattle's Bryce Miller, who has been untouchable this season with a 1.97 ERA and a 0.72 WHIP in eight appearances (45.2 innings). Adell is 0-for-9 (.000) against Miller with four strikeouts. Add in that the M's boast the eighth-best bullpen (3.65 ERA), and I think it could be tough sledding for Adell in the series finale.
Freddie Freeman 2+ Hits + Runs + RBIs (-122)
Let's swing down to Los Angeles to close out the night, where the Padres and Dodgers open up a four-game weekend series. I'm looking to back the red-hot Freddie Freeman and Los Angeles in this spot. Freeman has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball recently, ranking eighth in batting average (.450) and 19th in wOBA (.488) over the last seven days.
Freeman faces Randy Vasquez (4.44 ERA), who he's 5-for-9 (.556) against with three doubles. Los Angeles' lineup as a whole has a .905 OPS against the right-hander across a 70-at-bat sample size. The Dodgers are also third in wOBA (.396) and sixth in ISO (.204) over the last seven days. Freeman should have a few quality chances to drive in some runs on Thursday night.
