MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (6/3)

Only about half of the MLB is playing tonight. However, despite the Cardinals and Phillies playing last night, both teams are playing new opponents tonight without a break.

While I won’t bet on those games, I’ve still added two MLB same game parlays that I really like below.

Monday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

New York Mets vs. Washington Nationals MLB Same Game Parlay

The New York Mets will start Tylor Megill for tonight’s opening game against the Washington Nationals. Megill has already struck out 31.2% of batters this season and will face a Washington lineup with six batters striking out more than 24.2% of the time against righties over the last 30 days. Ultimately, there will likely be eight batters in the Washington lineup with strikeout rates above 20% over the previous month.

Megill has plenty of potential for at least five strikeouts.

Meanwhile, the Nationals will roll with MacKenzie Gore. The left-hander has allowed a .160 ISO and wOBA of .344 to his first 57 lefties this season. On the other hand, lefty Brandon Nimmo has hit a .174 ISO and has only struck out 22.2% of the time. He’s had success against lefties and has a good matchup against Gore.

Finally, Starling Marte has only struck out 14.8% of the time against lefties. He’s also hit 45% of line drives against lefties and only 35% of ground balls. While Gore has been better against righties this season, he’s still allowed 36.7% of line drives when balls are put into play.

Marte has a good chance of putting the ball in play with line-drive contact. Finish off the parlay with Marte to get a hit.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Toronto Blue Jays MLB Same Game Parlay

Yes, I’m fading Kevin Gausman.

Gausman has really struggled against lefties this season. Ultimately, he’s added just 21.6% of strikeouts against lefties and has allowed a .204 ISO and wOBA of .392 with 32.4% of line drives.

Over the last 30 days, the Orioles’ projected lineup has struck out only 18.6% of the time. Only Cedric Mullins has struck out more than 21.9% of the time against righties in the entire lineup. Plus, the Orioles should have five or six lefties in the lineup against Gausman. That favors the Orioles.

Meanwhile, Gunnar Henderson, a lefty, has hit a .338 ISO and wOBA of .382 against his last 79 righties. Then there’s Anthon Santander, who is a switch-hitter, but he’ll bat left-handed against Gausman. He’s hit a .270 ISO and wOBA of .350 with only 19.7% of strikeouts.

Henderson has hit 69.8% of hard contact with a 13.2% barrel percentage, while Santander has hit more fly balls than ground balls, with 57.1% of hard contact and a 12.2% barrel percentage.

Trust the Orioles lefties tonight.
