(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
San Diego Padres at Arizona Diamondbacks
-
- Leg 1: Diamondbacks Moneyline (-130)
- Leg 2: Lourdes Gurriel Jr. 2+ Total Bases (+105)
- Leg 3: Diamondbacks OVER 4.5 Runs (-115)
Zac Gallen is having another exceptional year after coming off a 2022 season in which he achieved some career highs. His control, with his walk percentage in the 90th percentile and chase percentage in the 77th, has helped him tremendously. Gallen hasn't seen San Diego since the first month of the season but had his best start of the year against them, going seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits, and striking out 11.
Zac Gallen has been turning up the heat in the desert.

Rich Hill was a trade deadline acquisition to try and give some depth to this rotation, especially with Joe Musgrove on the IL. It's certainly not the viable replacement, with Hill having a 5.48 expected ERA and below the 20th percentile in barrel percentage, expected slugging, and chase rate. He saw the D-Backs a month ago and went four innings, allowed five runs, and walked four.

Chicago Cubs at Toronto Blue Jays
-
- Leg 1: Blue Jays Moneyline (-115)
- Leg 2: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 2+ Total Bases (+110)
- Leg 3: OVER 8.5 Runs (-115)
It has been a breakout season for Justin Steele. He's coming in with a major league-leading 13 wins, thanks to that improvement of the slider, which makes his fastball more difficult for the batter to read. This will be a tough matchup against Toronto that has been great against lefties, as they are fifth in average and sixth in BABIP.
Chirs Bassett has been on a great stretch recently. Over his last eight starts, he has a 2.93 ERA, and the team is 6-2. Looking at his splits, you want him pitching in Toronto with a 2.56 ERA, compared to 5.19 on the road.

Detroit Tigers at Boston Red Sox
-
- Leg 1: Red Sox -1.5 (+100)
- Leg 2: Brayan Bello 6+ Strikeouts (-140)
- Leg 3: UNDER 10.5 Runs (-135)
After struggling last year in his rookie season, Brayan Bello has come into his own and has been a constant presence in a Boston rotation impacted by injuries. The reason for this turnaround has been the increased movement in his sinker and changeup, and he's cut his walk rate from 10.1 last year to 6.6 in 2023.

Matt Manning had a solid season going at the start, but after missing two months with a fracture in his right foot, he hasn’t been nearly as effective. He's on an abysmal stretch with a 9.18 ERA, and hitters have a 1.009 OPS against him.
Parlay Odds: +497
