It’s getaway day for many MLB teams. Therefore, there are only three MLB games on the schedule, including two games late on the West Coast. I’ve put together MLB same game parlays (SGPs) for both of those later games and shared them below.

      Atlanta Braves vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Reynaldo Lopez looked sharp in his season debut for the Braves. He allowed one run on three hits and two walks and completed a quality start after finishing six innings of work. He only struck out three batters in those six innings, though.

He’ll battle a Diamondbacks lineup that has struck out just 19.4% of the time dating back to last season against righties. The strikeouts likely won’t pile up again tonight.

Ryne Nelson will take the hill for the Diamondbacks. He finished his first start with a 7.71 ERA after allowing four runs, three walks, and two hits against the Dodgers in 4.2 innings. Nelson allowed a .375 ISO and wOBA of .379 to his first 11 lefties this season.

Drake Baldwin is a lefty who has hit a .216 ISO and wOBA of .357 against righties dating back to last season. Baldwin has struck out only 15.2% of the time against righties over his last 363 plate appearances against righties.

Matt Olson is another lefty to pay attention to. Not only does he have a high ISO and wOBA against righties since last season, but he’s hit 69.3% of hard contact with a 15% barrel percentage against righties since last year. Nelson has allowed almost 50% of hard contact to lefties since last season.

New York Mets vs. San Francisco Giants

David Peterson certainly isn’t a high strikeout pitcher. He only struck out 20.7% of batters last season and added only three in 5.1 innings in his season debut this year. However, the Giants’ projected lineup has six batters who have struck out at least 26.2% of the time against lefties since last season.

The Giants’ potential lineup has also hit just a .295 wOBA against lefties since last season. There’s a chance Peterson can get through six innings tonight.

Robbie Ray struck out close to 25% of batters last season, but added just 19% of strikeouts in his first game this season. Ray will face a Mets lineup that has been underwhelming to start the season. However, the entire projected lineup has struck out 18.6% of the time against lefties since last season.

It’s been a rough start for Bo Bichette after signing a huge contract in the offseason. However, he’s still hit a .228 ISO and wOBA of .370 against lefties since last season. Bichette has struck out only 11.9% of the time against lefties since last season, too. We can at least expect Bichette to put the ball in play. He’s had better contact over the last couple of games and has a chance to do damage against Ray, who has allowed a .286 ISO to begin the season against righties.
