Kansas City Royals vs. Houston Astros

The Kansas City Royals will run it back with Seth Lugo tonight. The right-hander has allowed a .246 ISO and a wOBA of .452 to his last 69 lefties, giving up almost 59% of hard contact and a batting average on balls in play (BABIP) of .440 during that stretch.
Yordan Alvarez has added a .167 ISO and a wOBA of .373 against his last 74 righties, while adding 66.7% of hard contact and a BABIP of .294. The potential American League MVP has some potential tonight against Lugo.
Miguel Ullola is penciled in as the Astros’ starter. He’s only faced 15 righties in the MLB this season. That said, those 15 batters have hit a .286 ISO and a wOBA of .324 with no ground balls.
Bobby Witt Jr. and Salvador Perez could take advantage. Witt has a .197 ISO and a wOBA of .372 against his last 81 righties, and Perez has earned a .171 ISO and a wOBA of .338 against his last 76 righties.

Boston Red Sox vs. Texas Rangers

The Red Sox will roll with Sonny Gray tonight. The right-hander has actually struggled against lefties over the last month, allowing a .220 ISO and a wOBA of .361 to his last 66 lefties.
The Rangers have multiple lefties at the top of the order that can do some damage. Joc Pederson has a .271 ISO and a wOBA of .323 against his last 55 righties. Additionally, Corey Seager has a .157 ISO and a wOBA of .324 against his last 60 righties.
Tyler Alexander will get the ball for the Rangers. The lefty has allowed a .185 ISO and a wOBA of .338 to his last 30 righties. Jahmai Jones has a .238 ISO and a wOBA of .432 against his last 28 lefties.
