It’s another day of baseball, and that means another chance to make MLB Sleeper player picks. We don’t have ideal weather conditions for today’s MLB slate, but I’ll do my best to avoid the bad weather spots and provide MLB picks on the Sleeper app that should have no weather delays or postponements.

Saturday's Best MLB Sleeper Player Picks & Predictions
Let’s dive into our top MLB Sleeper player picks and predictions on Saturday’s slate of games.
Vinnie Pasquantino Over 1.5 Total Bases (2.20x)
The Texas Rangers will send out Dane Dunning for tonight’s game against the Royals. Dunning has struggled against lefties, allowing a .340 ISO and wOBA of .357 to his first 59 lefties faced.
Lefties have even hit 46.9% of fly balls with just 37.5% of grounders against Dunning this season.
Meanwhile, Vinnie Pasquantino has smashed a .217 ISO and wOBA of .388. But more importantly, he’s struck out just 11.5% of the time against righties since last season.
Since last year, Pasquantino has also hit 55% of hard contact, 30.6% of fly balls, and nearly 25% of line drives against righties. Let’s take him to get at least two total bases in tonight’s showdown against the Rangers.
Zach Littell Under 4.5 Ks (1.97x)
Tampa Bay’s throwing Zack Littell for tonight’s contest against the Mets. Littell has struck out 24.8% of batters to begin the season. However, he’s added 29.5% of strikeouts against lefties and just 21.2% against righties.
New York should have more lefties. That would favor Littell. However, the Mets’ lefties have only struck out 18.7% of the time against righties since last season. The Mets’ higher strikeout hitters are coming from the right side, where Littell has earned below-average strikeouts to begin the season.
Even last year, Littell struck out just 17.1% of righties. Therefore, we’ll back his Under against the Mets.
Michael King Under 2.5 BBs (1.47x)
San Diego’s Michael King has allowed 11.8% of walks to begin the season. That’s a high number. However, the walks typically come against lefties. King has walked 14.9% of lefties but only 9.1% of righties.
King is in line to face an Arizona lineup with more righties than lefties. Meanwhile, the righties in the lineup have walked 9.2% of the time against righties since last year, which is right in line with King’s walk numbers against righties.
Plus, it’s unlikely King will continue to walk lefties at 15%. In 430 plate appearances last season, King only walked 7.2% of batters. Lefties also walked just 8.8% of the time in 181 plate appearances last year. Take King to limit the walks in tonight’s contest.
Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases (1.72x)
Since last season, Shohei Ohtani has hit a .386 ISO and wOBA of .478 against righties.
Tonight, he’ll face Bryce Elder of the Braves. Elder has only struck out 6.1% of lefties to begin the season. He’s also allowed a .328 wOBA with a low whiff rate and swinging strike percentage. While he’s held the ISO numbers down to begin the season, Elder still allowed a .161 ISO and wOBA of .317 to 387 lefties last season.
It’s unlikely Elder can sustain his near 65% ground ball rate. Meanwhile, Ohtani has hit 33.4% of fly balls and 67.2% of hard contact, with a 22.9% barrel percentage against righties. Let’s ride Ohtani’s total bases tonight.
