Randal Grichuk HIGHER 1.5 Total Bases
Randal Grichuk is an excellent power source against lefties. In 434 plate appearances against southpaws since 2022, Grichuk has hit 27 doubles, four triples and 20 homers with a .308 batting average, .546 slugging and .238 ISO. He should tap into his immense power in a plus matchup tonight. Patrick Corbin has yielded 20 doubles, seven triples, 13 homers, a .295 batting average and .493 slugging to 405 right-handed batters this season.
Juan Yepez HIGHER 1.5 Total Bases (Scorcher 1.1x)
In 86 plate appearances this year, Juan Yepez has hit 10 doubles and two homers with a .364 batting average, .306 xBA, .571 slugging, .411 xSLG and .208 ISO. Additionally, he’s had a reverse platoon split in his young career. In 302 plate appearances against righties since debuting in 2022, Yepez has hit 19 doubles and 12 homers with a .266 batting average, .464 slugging and .198 ISO. Conversely, Ryne Nelson also has a reverse platoon split, ceding 15 doubles, four triples, three homers, a .330 batting average and .492 slugging to 214 right-handed batters this season.
Heliot Ramos HIGHER 7.0 Fantasy Points
Heliot Ramos destroys lefties. In 143 plate appearances against lefties since reaching The Show in 2022, he’s hit eight homers with a .392 OBP, .298 ISO and 175 wRC+. The breakout outfielder is also in good form, hitting five homers with a .333 OBP, .232 ISO and 145 wRC+ in his previous 99 plate appearances. Finally, JP Sears has allowed a .361 wOBA to 375 righties this season.
Matt Chapman HIGHER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Matt Chapman can also take advantage of a cushy matchup with Sears, and his over for hits, runs and RBIs correlates with Ramos’s over for fantasy points. In 351 plate appearances against lefties since 2022, Chapman has hit 12 homers with a .283 batting average, .362 OBP, .203 ISO and 139 wRC+. Moreover, in his previous 104 plate appearances in 24 games, he’s hit five homers with 18 runs, 12 RBIs, a .247 batting average, .375 OBP, .247 ISO and 148 wRC+.
