Sunday’s Best NBA Player Props
Rudy Gobert 22+ Points + Rebounds (-116)
We kick off the day in Oklahoma City, where the Thunder host the Minnesota Timberwolves. Rudy Gobert faces a tough task in this contest, yet the 22+ total for his combined points + rebounds prop seems like an angle we can attack. Gobert has fared well against Oklahoma City’s defense recently, and we feel good about his chances to reach the suggested threshold on this prop.
Gobert is averaging 9.3 points and 12.3 rebounds over his previous three contests against the Thunder. The Timberwolves center is averaging 9.3 points and 11.6 boards in his last three road games, where he has been on the floor for 30+ minutes. Gobert is averaging 10.7 points and 12.2 rebounds through the last 10 contests.
Gobert has finished with at least 22 combined points + rebounds in six of his last 10 games - including four contests with 29+ combined points + rebounds. The veteran center is averaging 10.4 points and 11.7 rebounds in his last 10 games against a Western Conference opponent.
Jalen Duren 20+ Points (-116)
Jalen Duren's season has been nothing short of brilliant. He is averaging 18.7 points, and his production has only improved since the All-Star break. The total on this prop is probably a bit too low from a recency standpoint, so we plan on jumping on this number before it possibly increases.
The Pistons center may be dealing with a bit of knee discomfort after only playing 15 minutes against the Sixers on Thursday. That did not deter the young center from dropping 30 points on Memphis in only 28 minutes the next night. Duren is knocking down 81% of his attempts and is averaging 11 field-goal attempts over the last four contests.
The Pistons center is averaging 22 points over the previous 10 games. He has scored 20+ points in three out of the last four contests and five out of the last eight contests against an Eastern Conference opponent. Duren appears to be in a fantastic spot to finish with at least 20 points against the Toronto Raptors today.
Scoot Henderson 14+ Points (-110)
Scoot Henderson is averaging 14 points per game this season. As of late, he has been making tremendous strides in getting buckets. Henderson has totaled 70 points over the previous three games and is averaging 61% shooting from the field on 13 attempts per game over that span.
The young guard scored 25 points the last time Portland took to the court on Friday. Henderson went 5-of-7 from three-point range. He is averaging 15.1 points per game in March, while shooting 44% from beyond the arc.
This line seems somewhat low due to the fact that Philadelphia is down to the bare bones of their roster, as well as the opportunity for extra playing time for the Trail Blazers guard. Henderson will look to make it four consecutive contests with 14+ points, and we think he can do so against a limited Philadelphia team.
Gui Santos Under 16.5 Points (-118)
We jumped on Gui Santos’ over on Friday, which came to fruition. His line has since jumped two points, and things look to be favoring the under for this contest against the New York Knicks. Santos has scored 17 points in back-to-back games. But those were at a home. A tough road game against the Knicks could prove to be more troublesome.
Santos barely played (five minutes) in the first meeting between the Knicks and Warriors. Times have changed, and the young forward is now averaging 35.8 minutes per game in March. Santos has been a consistent source of scoring for Golden State, but 17 points might be out of reach in this contest.
New York ranks sixth in defensive rating (111.8), while being tied for the fewest amount of second-chance points allowed. The Knicks are only allowing 110.7 points per game on the season and 109.6 when playing at home. Santos has scored 17+ points in just six out of his last 20 contests.
Cody Williams 16+ Points + Rebounds (-113)
We were fortunate to get Cody Williams’ combined points + rebounds + assists prop at 15 on Friday for a plus return. We are going back to the well once again - minus the dimes this time around. Williams has played 28+ minutes in each of the last six games - including five straight of 36+ minutes. This is once again an extremely low total for someone who has a very good chance to be on the floor for 35 minutes.
Williams is averaging 12.7 points and 5.3 boards in the previous six contests. The Jazz forward is averaging 11.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in 32.7 minutes in March. Williams is averaging 11.2 points and 5.4 rebounds over his last five road games.
Williams has seen a gigantic increase in playing time - going from averaging 21.8 minutes on the season to 38.1 over the last five contests. He has scored double-digit points in all five games, while shooting 48.1% from the field.
Enjoy the games tonight. Best of luck with your picks.
