We’ve got two Game 7 matchups in the first round of the NBA Playoffs this weekend. Tonight’s game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets will begin the madness. After watching six games, I’ve got a good idea about how Game 7 will play out. Therefore, I added a bunch of PrizePicks player predictions you’ll want to consider.
Like every NBA PrizePicks article, we’ll give out four different player predictions you can use for a four-leg Power Play entry. A two-leg Power Play entry will give you implied odds of -137 for each prediction. A three-leg Power Play entry will give you implied odds of -141. A four-leg NBA PrizePicks Power Play entry will give you implied odds of -128 for each prediction.
Getting -128 on the same prediction is better than -137 or -141. Here are our top NBA PrizePicks player predictions for tonight’s action.
Remember that a Flex play can still win if one pick misses, but you’d get lower payouts.

Nikola Jokic has scored no more than 23 points in three of his last four games. He’s ultimately added at least 29 points in just one of his last five and three of his last 10 games.
While it’s a Game 7 and an elimination game, he didn’t shut the door in Game 6, scoring only 25 points on 50% shooting from the field. Jokic has attempted no more than 16 shots in three of his last five games. Additionally, the Clippers rank 12th in the NBA in points allowed to centers. They rarely give up second-chance points to centers and rank ninth in the NBA in field goals made to centers this season.
Asking for 29 points from Jokic in a potential defensive battle in a Game 7 is probably too much.
James Harden scored 28 points to force a Game 7 for the Clippers last time out. However, he’s scored no more than 20 points in his previous four games. He’s also added at least 22 points in only 31 head-to-head games against the Nuggets, dating back to 2022.
The Nuggets have been poor defensively throughout the season. But they’ve done a better job against point guards this season than most positions. They’ve ranked eighth in free throws made against point guards and rarely send point guards to the foul line.
Harden is very good at getting to the line and creating contact, but the Nuggets should be able to limit him there a bit.
Meanwhile, over the last 10 games, Harden has shot 47.5% from the field and below 40% from downtown. That said, he’s shot 45% or below in four of his last five games. Don’t count on Harden to add at least 22 points.
Norman Powell has been super consistent, adding at least 20 points in three of his last four games. Denver already ranks 27th in the NBA in points allowed to shooting guards. The Nuggets also rank 30th in field goal attempts allowed to shooting guards and rank 23rd in the NBA in three-point field goal percentage to shooting guards.
Powell has taken advantage. He’s shot above 50% in three of his last four games. In addition, he’s attempted more than 13 shots per game. Ultimately, he’s added at least 12 field goal attempts in every game in this series.
I love the consistency from Powell. Let’s take his more than.
The Nuggets have gotten at least 11 points from Christian Braun in three of his last five games. He’s also added at least 11 points in eight of his last 10 games. However, Braun has struggled against the Clippers most of the time. He’s added 11 points in just seven of his previous 17 head-to-head games against the Clippers.
The Clippers already rank second in the NBA in points allowed to shooting guards. They’ve limited threes against shooting guards and have allowed the lowest field goals made to shooting guards this season.
Conversely, Braun has hit only 29.9% from downtown over the last 10 games. He’s even had four games where he didn’t make a single three. Look for the Clippers to continue their strong defense against shooting guards in a Game 7 that should have lots of defense.
