Happy Holidays! In the past two articles, we went from a reverse sweep to a positive sweep. Let’s keep the positivity rolling into the New Year with the NBA today.
Here are three of my favorite player predictions via PrizePicks for Monday, December 30.
Monday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
PrizePicks Record: 21-13
Walker Kessler More Than 21.5 Points+Rebounds
Utah’s big man narrowly got us over this line a couple of days ago, but the matchup is too strong to ignore here. He and the Jazz face the Nuggets, who have been stymied by Centers all season long. They’re allowing the fifth most points in the paint and sixth most rebounds to Centers. This is Kessler’s third matchup with Utah on the year, and he has posted a couple of his best games against them, finishing with 32 and 28 points+rebounds.
Christian Braun More Than 12 Points
Sticking with the same game, let’s turn to a young Nugget in a fantastic matchup as well. Utah has permitted the most points in transition, which is how Braun scores the majority (36%) of his points. He scored 17 and 18 points facing the Jazz in their two meetings and has exceeded this line in 19/29 games, averaging 13.9 points per game. Oh yeah, and Aaron Gordon is out, so he should see even more usage in this one than usual.
Miles Bridges More Than 34.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
Charlotte faces the Swiss-cheese defense of the Chicago Bulls today. They’re 26th in adjusted defensive net rating and push the pace too, ranking second in that metric. All of that points to plenty of points to their opposition, and there’s a chance that Charlotte could be missing a couple of their key players. Brandon Miller, LaMelo Ball, and Cody Martin are all questionable to suit up in this one. Missing all three last game, in one of the hardest matchups against OKC, Bridges finished with 35 PRA.
