Ultimately, the Warriors have allowed nearly 42% from the field and continue to send shooting guards to the foul line. Look for Christie to keep his hot stretch going against this Warriors defense.
Kawhi Leonard has scored 25 points in two consecutive games. Still, he’s only added at least 23 points in 25% of games this season. Leonard has averaged only 18.7 points per game over his last 10.
He’ll take on a Pacers defense ranked ninth in the NBA in points allowed to small forwards. The Pacers have only allowed 7.32 made field goals and 16.32 field goal attempts to small forwards this season. Both of those numbers are in the top 10 defensively for the Pacers.
Additionally, Leonard has shot below 50% in seven straight games and has averaged only 44.7% from the field in those last 10 games. He’ll likely struggle tonight.
