Here are the three best NBA PrizePicks plays for Tuesday, February 6.
Butler has scored at least 21 points in five consecutive games. However, his total is set at just 18.5 for tonight's game against the Magic. This line has probably been adjusted because of the 15 points Butler scored against the Magic earlier this year. However, that game was not indicative of what will happen tonight.
Butler played only 29 minutes in that game, as the Miami Heat won 105-87. Since 2024 began, that game was the only time Butler played fewer than 30 minutes. The Magic are the sixth-lowest scoring team in the NBA. However, they're still averaging over 111 points per game. This game will be closer than the first meeting between these two teams and Butler will perform much better than he did in that game.
Edwards went 4-of-8 from deep in Sunday's win over the Houston Rockets. It was his second consecutive game with eight three-point attempts. While he only made two in his previous game, we like him to have a huge night from deep against the Bulls.
The Bulls are allowing 14.2 three-pointers per game, the second-worst mark in the league. Edwards doesn't always shoot a lot of three-pointers, but this is a game where he should be looking to take advantage of a mismatch. Plus, getting him over 3.5 right now gives you inflated odds at PrizePicks. Since he's averaging 2.5 makes per game this season, we'll gladly take the better odds for him to make one more than his season average against this Bulls' defense.
Beasley has had two solid games in a row. He finished 4-of-6 on Sunday, one day after shooting 3-of-8 against the Dallas Mavericks. With those two performances, Beasley is now averaging 2.8 made three-pointers per game this season, but this may not be the best matchup for him tonight.
The Suns aren't great at defending the deep ball, but they're not bad at it either. Beasley has been hot of late, but before his current two-game streak, he made just one three-pointer in four consecutive games. The Bucks are likely to have to rely on some of their more reliable scorers in a game they're underdogs in. Because of that, Beasley won't factor into the gameplan much.
