Let’s roll with these four plays tonight.
Buddy Hield nailed four threes in 37 minutes against the Boston Celtics on Thursday. He attempted ten threes and just 14 shots throughout the game.
He’s shooting threes at a high volume, nearing ten threes per game. If he shoots 40% from downtown, he’ll earn four threes in tonight’s ball game. Orlando is 24th defensively in the NBA, going up against the three-point ball.
Hield has hit at least four threes in seven of his last nine games.
Jamal Murray has earned at least seven assists in each game in February. Yes, he’s only played three games, but when he returned two days ago, Murray added nine assists and took 11 three-point attempts. He feels good and will earn over 30 minutes in tonight’s game.
When you’ve got Nikola Jokic on your side, it can quickly rack up assists.
Jaylen Brown Over 27.5 Points + Assists (-128)
Brown is coming off a 30-point game against the Indiana Pacers, where he took 24 shots. Brown’s assist line is at 2.5 in most places. But he’s also earned at least three assists in five straight games.
Brown has hit three assists in 63% of games this season. Therefore, his point total would sit at about 25.5. He’s averaged 26.6 points per game and has been on fire, even earning 35 points in the NBA All-Star Game on 27 shots.

This is a steep number for Markkanen, but he’s turning into a true star with the Utah Jazz. He’s averaging 25.2 points per game but has hit 29 points in his last three games. He’s even coming off a 43-point effort against the Thunder, where he took 28 shots. Twelve of those came from downtown.
He’ll now face the worst defense in the NBA in the San Antonio Spurs. He’s going to eat tonight.
