His last time out, Cameron Johnson scored just 11 points in 35 minutes against the Charlotte Hornets. It was his second-worst scoring performance since joining the Brooklyn Nets. Johnson is averaging 18.2 points per game since being acquired by the Nets, and he has scored at least 19 points in four of his last five.
The Houston Rockets have the fourth-worst defense in the NBA, allowing 118.2 points per game. You have to take someone on the Nets to go over their point total tonight. Johnson is the best option out of everyone being offered on PrizePicks.
We don't know how long Ja Morant will be out, but we do know that Tyus Jones will see his minutes greatly increased as long as he is not on the court. In the first game of Morant's absence, Jones played 36 minutes, scored 25 points and dished out 12 assists.
Jones won't have as many assists tonight as he did in his first game in the primary point guard role, but this number is set way too low at PrizePicks. He is going against the Los Angeles Lakers, who are allowing the seventh-most points per game. Take advantage of Jones' low lines now because if Morant is out for a while, these numbers will creep up to over eight.
No matter how well he plays, Luka Doncic's number is always the same. Normally, I'd stay away from his Over, especially since he has made two or fewer three-pointers five times in his last nine games. However, after a particularly bad night shooting on Sunday against the Phoenix Suns, there is great value in taking him tonight.
The Jazz are right in the middle of the league regarding opponents’ three-point shooting percentage. That pretty much means that any time Doncic wants to shoot a long ball, he will be able to. Based on recent trends, expect him to put up at least eight attempts from deep. While he shot more than that Sunday and didn't go over, more often than not, Doncic makes three or more when he has eight or more attempts in a game.
