Memphis Grizzlies vs. Boston Celtics

Kristaps Porzingis has earned at least 21 points in three consecutive games. He’s also attempted at least 17 field goal attempts in each of his last two games, which is very significant.

Ultimately, Porzingis is facing a Memphis defense ranked 25th in points allowed to power forwards this season. The Grizzlies have also allowed 2.83 threes to power forwards per game and have allowed a 46.67% field goal percentage, which is 23rd in the NBA. Porzingis should continue his hot stretch tonight.

Jaylen Brown has also hit the over with his points prop in his last three games. These weren’t all the same games as Porzingis. However, Brown has scored at least 25 in his previous three appearances. Memphis also ranks 25th in points allowed to small forwards and has given up 3.44 second-chance points per game. That said, Brown has attempted at least 21 shots in four straight games. The volume will be there.

Finally, while Jrue Holiday has added at least five assists in three of his last four games, I’ve got him going under his prop line tonight. He’s taking on a Grizzlies team ranked ninth in assists allowed to point guards this season. Holiday has hit this line in just 35% of his games this season. It’s a poor matchup for Holiday.

Phoenix Suns vs. Miami Heat

Duncan Robinson has played three games in December. In those three games, he’s added no more than eight points in any of those three games. He’s been to the foul line just once in the last four games. He’s also hit no more than two field goal attempts in seven of his last 10 games. Robinson is also in line to face a Phoenix defense that already ranks fourth in points allowed to small forwards this season.

Meanwhile, Tyler Herro has missed out on six or more rebounds in four straight games. It won’t get any easier against the Suns since Phoenix has allowed just 5.72 rebounds per game to shooting guards this season. That ranks seventh in the NBA.

Lastly, let’s close with Devin Booker to hit at least three three-pointers. He’s done this in five straight games. With Kevin Durant out, Booker is the lead man and is playing like it. Booker has attempted at least eight threes in four consecutive games. He’s also attempted 10 in each of the last two. If he goes 30% from three, that’s good enough.
