Memphis Grizzlies vs. Sacramento Kings

Malik Monk only scored five points against Utah last time out. However, the Kings’ shooting guard has hit at least 12 points in 71% of games this season. Before his five-point game against the Jazz, he added at least 12 points in three consecutive games. Monk won’t get a super high amount of minutes, but his usage is typically high when he’s in the game. Plus, he’ll face a Grizzlies team that ranks 29th in three-point percentage against shooting guards. If Monk gets hot from three, watch out!

Meanwhile, Russell Westbrook finished with 14 assists against the Jazz. There’s plenty of hype surrounding Westbrook, but the last time he added 14 assists, he finished with just seven in his next game. He’s shown little consistency with assists this season and will now face a Grizzlies team that ranks second in the NBA in assists allowed to point guards this year.

Finally, Zach LaVine has secured at least four rebounds in zero of his last five games, but that should change tonight. He’s taking on a Memphis squad that ranks 26th in total rebounds allowed and 26th in defensive rebounds allowed to shooting guards. LaVine has earned 5.3 rebound chances per game over the last ten games. That should also increase against Memphis, especially if he continues to play 32 minutes a night.

Parlay Odds: +614

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Los Angeles Lakers

Austin Reaves has scored 31+ points in back-to-back games heading into this one. He’s averaged nearly 36 minutes a night over the last ten and has shot 51.4% from the field on almost 16 shots per game. Reaves will battle a Pelicans unit that ranks dead last in points allowed to shooting guards this season. The Pelicans are especially bad against the three-ball. Reaves has hit 50% or above in three of his last five games from downtown.

On the other hand, Zion Williamson continues to shine for the Pelicans since returning. He’s recorded at least 25 points in two of his last three games. The minutes have stayed around 30 per game, but he’s got a super high usage rate and has attempted 14.5 shots per game over the last ten games. Plus, the Lakers rank last in points allowed to power forwards this season. Expect Zion to earn plenty of field goal attempts in this one.

Lastly, take DeAndre Ayton to record at least nine rebounds. He’s averaged 14.5 rebound chances per game over the last ten games, but against the Pelicans, that number should increase. Ayton has averaged 13.4 rebounds per game against the Pelicans in his previous eight meetings. He destroys the Pelicans, and that’s probably because New Orleans doesn’t have a true center in their lineup.
