Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks

Brandon Williams has scored at least 14 points in eight of his last 10 games. However, he only added six points in 11 minutes against the Knicks in a blowout win last time out. Look for Williams to get back on track against the Warriors. After all, the Warriors rank 30th in three-point rate and 29th in field goal rate among point guards. They’re also 27th in points allowed and 28th in field goals allowed to point guards.

On the other hand, Cooper Flagg has earned at least five assists in just 44% of games this season. That said, he’s hit this line in seven of his last 10 games and added five assists in a previous game against the Warriors earlier this year. The Warriors currently rank 28th in assists allowed to small forwards and won’t have Jimmy Butler on the defensive end anymore. That’ll only make things more complicated for the Warriors’ defense.

Steph Curry has earned no more than three rebounds in four consecutive games. But he’s still hit this line in six of his last eight games against the Mavericks, averaging 4.8 rebounds in these contests. After all, the Mavericks rank dead last in rebounds allowed to point guards this season, and Curry has averaged more than six rebound chances per game. Asking for four rebounds in 30+ minutes isn’t unreasonable.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Kawhi Leonard has missed the Clippers’ last couple of games, but there’s optimism he’ll play tonight. Leonard has averaged 32.4 points per game in his previous 10 games, including his last two, when he’s scored at least 33 points. The Lakers rank dead last in points allowed to small forwards and have allowed the most field-goal attempts and field goals made to small forwards this year. If Leonard plays, he’ll go off.

Meanwhile, Ivica Zubac has only scored 15+ points in 43% of games. In addition, he’s hit this line in just three of his last eight games against the Lakers. He’s also added at least 15 points in only three of his last 10 games. The Lakers currently rank second in the NBA in points allowed to centers. They also rank third in the NBA in field goals attempted. It won’t be an easy night for Zubac.

Lastly, Luka Doncic finished with 13 rebounds against the Denver Nuggets last time out. He had 16 rebound chances in that game and has increased his 10-game rebound chances number beyond 11 per game. Ultimately, the Clippers rank 22nd in the NBA in total rebounds allowed to point guards. You can expect double-digit rebound chances for Doncic tonight.
