Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls

Injuries could impact this matchup for the Cavaliers, as they will be missing several key players. Most importantly, they will be without their leading rebounder, Evan Mobley, who is dealing with a calf injury, and they are still without Sam Merrill and Max Strus. Cleveland has been impacted by injuries all season and has not had the entire lineup, which is likely why they have not been as dominant as when they were the No. 1 seed last season.
At one point this season, the Bulls were the top team in the Eastern Conference, but that feels like a long time ago. Chicago has plummeted since starting 6-1, going 4-14 since. They've regressed on both sides of the court. They started very well by shooting 40% from three in those first seven games, but dropped to 34% since. They've also forgotten to defend at the rim, and are allowing a league-high 38.1% from within five feet.
Even without Mobley, they still have Jarrett Allen at the rim and an excellent backcourt featuring Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland.

Memphis Grizzlies at Minnesota Timberwolves

The Grizzlies feel like a team in limbo. After starting the season 4-11, they are improving, winning eight of their next 11 games. The problem is this has been an easy stretch in the schedule, as none of those victories came against winning teams, and two of the losses came from opponents above .500.
That is not the case with the Timberwolves, who are 17-9 and sixth in a tough Western Conference. With how Anthony Edwards is playing, this might be the year he can win the MVP Award. He's averaged more than 25 points in the last few games. Edwards is averaging 28.7 points per game, which ranks eighth in the league and is a career high.
The Timberwolves are one of the top three-point shooting teams in the league at 38% (third), which benefits them against a Grizzlies defense allowing opponents to shoot 36.8% from behind the arc (22nd).
