Saturday's Top Underdog Fantasy NBA Pick 'Em Picks
Sabonis is on a streak right now. He’s added at least 14 rebounds in five consecutive games.
Sabonis has literally added games with 17 or more rebounds in three of those five. With this line, we can’t just look away. We’ve got to take it.
Sabonis leads the NBA with 13.7 rebounds per game. But he’s only improving and doing better on the glass over time. He’s nailed this line in nine of his last ten games and is facing an Orlando defense that only ranks 16th in rebounds allowed to centers this season.
He’ll likely get around 37 minutes in this game if he stays out of foul trouble. After two foul outs to begin the month, he hasn’t had more than four fouls in nine straight games. Let’s back the Over.
Earlier this season, Suggs added 24 points in 39 minutes against the Kings. He shot 44.4% from the field but 50% from downtown in his big night.
Why can’t he do the same tonight?
Suggs has hit 16 or more points in two consecutive games despite seeing less than 30 minutes in both. This month, he’s shot 54.1% from the field and 45.5% from downtown in about 27 minutes a night. Suggs will face a Kings defense that ranks 19th in the NBA in points allowed to shooting guards. Let’s ride Suggs to get Over 12.5 points.
Josh Hart: 10.5 Rebounds - Higher
Hart had a terrible performance on Thursday. He played 36 minutes and scored two points, adding one assist and three rebounds. He was basically running cardio out there.
However, this month, he’s still averaged 11.8 rebounds per game. With OG Anunoby sidelined again, Hart is back in that hybrid role. He’ll play almost the entire game against the Nets. Before his three-rebound game, he had 11 or more rebounds in five straight games.
Expect him to return to that against the Nets, who rank only 27th in rebounds allowed to small forwards.
Sexton has gone 0 for 5 over the last two games from three. He’s had one or fewer threes in three of his previous four games. Therefore, the Under is appealing here.
Sexton and the Jazz are facing a red-hot Rockets team that is still slightly above average in the NBA in threes allowed to point guards. Meanwhile, Sexton has only nailed this line in four of his last ten games. It’s interesting because he’s still hit 41.7% from downtown this season. That rate should start to regress in his slump.
The last play is for Bridges to earn at least four assists. He tallied four assists in his first game against the Hawks earlier this season after playing 34 minutes in that game.
Over the last ten games, Bridges has added at least four assists in six, including two straight. He’s also playing 39 minutes per game this month, so he would essentially need just one assist every ten minutes. With the Hawks ranking 15th in the NBA in assists allowed to small forwards, there won’t be any surprises from the Atlanta defense against Bridges.
