With Derrick Henry out, the Tennessee Titans will struggle to move the ball. Henry has accounted for 36% of their 3,017 total yards this season. The addition of a washed-up Adrian Peterson won’t help them much, either. Henry had been generating most of his own yards, as Tennessee’s offensive line ranks below average in adjusted line yards.
Speaking of the Titans’ offensive line, they have allowed the fourth-worst adjusted sack rate (8.7%). The Rams aren’t perfect at rushing the passer - they rank 12th-best in adjusted sack sate - but the addition of Von Miller will help them improve. Tannehill will have to run for his life tonight, and that’ll lead him to scramble a decent amount.
Also, Tannehill has gone over this total in five of his eight starts this season. He is averaging 2.9 attempts and 20.6 rushing yards per game, good for 7.17 yards per carry. With the Rams allowing 18 rushing yards per game to quarterbacks (and 5.14 yards per carry), look for Tannehill to hit the over on this prop tonight.
