NFL Monday Night Football PrizePicks Player Predictions
Russell Wilson Over 1.0 Passing Touchdowns
By taking this over, there is a chance that this bet ends up pushing. However, Wilson has thrown for two or more touchdown passes in five of his eight games. He has not failed to throw for a touchdown in a single game this year.
The Bills are only allowing 1.1 touchdown passes per game. However, as defensive injuries have piled up, they've allowed six passing touchdowns in their last three games. Tonight, the Bills will be without Micah Hyde and Christian Benford, two key members of their secondary. Considering how depleted they already were, we expect Wilson to continue his hot start.
Javonte Williams Over 13.5 Rush Attempts
Before their bye week, the Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 24-9. In that game, Williams ran the ball 27 times for 85 yards. It was clear that the Broncos wanted to drain the clock and keep the ball from Patrick Mahomes, a plan we believe we will see in effect again tonight.
Williams has carried the ball more than 13 times just twice this season. However, both of those performances have come in the Broncos' last two games. The Broncos came away victorious in both of those contests. Tonight, they'll take on a defense allowing 112.2 rushing yards per game. Even if Williams struggles to get meaningful yards, we expect the Broncos to continue to feed him as they attempt to shorten the game.
Josh Allen Over 33.5 Passing Attempts
Allen has thrown the ball 38 or more times in three consecutive games. Since the Bills' 48-20 win over the Miami Dolphins, Allen has thrown the ball 37.8 times per game. With how the Bills are playing, we don't think they can blow anyone out right now, so we believe that Allen will be throwing all game.
Additionally, the Broncos' 32n-ranked rush defense isn't as bad as advertised. They're allowing fewer than 100 yards per game over their last three. If it wasn’t for their one game against the Dolphins, this is a team that would be ranked in the top 20 in the league in rushing yards allowed. They're still not great, but they're good enough to stop James Cook and a struggling Bills' rushing offense and keep Allen throwing.
