Justin Herbert has had some really good performances this season, but he's struggled against some of the best defenses in football. Tonight, he faces a pass defense allowing just 169.7 passing yards per game. As he struggles to work the ball down the field, he's going to rely heavily on Austin Ekeler as his check-down option.
Ekeler only has one game this season with more than four catches. Ekeler has been targeted at least five times in five of his seven games. We expect to see even more of a target share tonight, resulting in more catches.
With Mark Andrews out, Zay Flowers becomes an even more important piece of the Ravens' offense. Even when factoring in Andrews, Flowers leads the team with 588 receiving yards, though he has yet to record a 100-yard game this season.
Andrews had racked up 544 yards this year, so his absence leaves a lot of opportunity for other Ravens' receivers. The Ravens have 13 passing touchdowns this season. Six of them were caught by Andrews. Without him, other members of the offense will need to step up. This could mean Isaiah Likely is in for a big night, but we will back two players who have scored over the past three weeks.
Both Keaton Mitchell and Odell Beckham Jr. have scored two touchdowns in their last three games. The Chargers are allowing 23.8 points per game, so we expect the Ravens to score three touchdowns in this one. While Gus Edwards has the lowest odds at every sportsbook to score a touchdown in this contest, he's paired with Quentin Johnston at PrizePicks. Johnston has just one touchdown all season.
Both Mitchell and Beckham Jr. can get in the end zone. Without the team's second-leading touchdown sorcerer on the field, the Ravens will need production from elsewhere. These two players have been coming on as of late and could see huge increases in production tonight. This is the one most likely to happen of all the combo props offered.
