Sunday night we have a matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Los Angeles Chargers. Millions of dollars will get bet on this game. However, which touchdown prop bets should you bet? Let's take a look.

Baltimore Ravens First TD Scorer: Gus Edwards (+340)
The Ravens are one of the top run-heavy offenses in the NFL. Edwards has 10 rushing touchdowns, already a career-high. Furthermore, he had the second-most rushing scores in the league entering Week 12. Edwards has had at least one rushing touchdown in five consecutive games, averaging 1.8 touchdowns per contest over the past five weeks. More importantly, the veteran running back has the first Baltimore touchdown in 27.3% of the games this year, including last week and two of the past three contests.
Meanwhile, the Chargers have struggled to slow down opposing rushing attacks. They have surrendered seven rushing touchdowns to running backs, the 12th-most in the NFL. More importantly, the first touchdown scored against Los Angeles has been a rushing one in 70% of the games, including three straight and five of the past six contests. Edwards is the focal point of the run game and should find the end zone at least once in this matchup.
Los Angeles Chargers First TD Scorer: Austin Ekeler (+230)
Despite missing three games this year with a high ankle sprain, Ekeler leads the team in rushing touchdowns with four. He has found the end zone in three of the past four contests, totaling four touchdowns. More importantly, the superstar has had the first Chargers touchdown in 42.9% of the games he played this season, including the first offensive score in two of the past four weeks. Meanwhile, the Ravens have had a hit-or-miss run defense.
Baltimore has given up only three rushing touchdowns to running backs this year, the fifth-fewest in the NFL. Yet, they have failed to keep running backs out of the end zone early in games. Opposing running backs have five touchdowns against Baltimore this season, all the first score of the game for their team. More importantly, the first touchdown scored against the Ravens has been by a running back in 62.5% of the contest this season, including four of the past six games.
Anytime TD Scorer: Keenan Allen (+120)
Many thought Allen would show signs of decline this year after struggling with injuries in 2022. However, the star wide receiver has been outstanding. He has seven receiving touchdowns, the third-most in the NFL. Furthermore, Allen is one away from matching his career high and has accounted for 35% of the Chargers’ receiving touchdowns. The veteran has found the end zone in half of the games this year, including three times over the past two weeks.
Yet, Allen will have his work cut out for him Sunday night. The Ravens have surrendered only six receiving touchdowns to wide receivers, the fourth-fewest in the NFL. However, Baltimore has struggled lately at keeping wide receivers out of the end zone. They have given up 50% of their receiving touchdowns for the season in the past four weeks. More importantly, Justin Herbert has two weapons he can count on - Allen and Austin Ekeler. Therefore, don't be surprised if the star receiver finds the end zone Sunday night.
Anytime TD Scorer: Odell Beckham Jr. (+230)
Unfortunately, the Ravens lost Mark Andrews to a season-ending injury last week. While Isaiah Likely is a talented backup, the second-year tight end can't replace Andrews' production. However, Beckham has played well lately and can become a reliable go-to target for Lamar Jackson. The veteran wide receiver started the year slowly but has found the end zone in two of the past three contests. Furthermore, Beckham has a 19% target share over the past five weeks, second only to Andrews (19.7%).
More importantly, the former LSU star has an appealing matchup on Sunday. The Chargers have surrendered 12 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers this season, the third-most in the NFL entering Week 12. They have given up at least one receiving touchdown to wide receivers in 70% of the games, including four of the past six. Last week, the Green Bay Packers wide receiver had two receiving touchdowns and a rushing score in a win over Los Angeles. If Beckham plays, he has a good chance of finding the end zone.
