NFL Week 3 Teasers: Picks & Predictions (2026)

One popular way bettors try to find value on NFL lines is by playing teasers. An NFL teaser is similar to a parlay; you add multiple legs that must all win for the bet to pay out. The key difference from parlays is that a teaser lets you buy points - like 6.0, 6.5 or 7.0 - in a direction that reduces risk. You’ll find our top NFL Week 3 teasers below.

NFL Week 3 Teasers

Cleveland Browns (+2.5 to +8.5) vs. Carolina Panthers

While I am a Clevelander, I think it's time we put a little more respect on the Cleveland Browns.

Week 1 was a disaster, but I'm willing to chalk some of that up to Deshaun Watson playing his first NFL game in nearly two years while also learning a completely new system under first-year head coach Todd Monken.

We saw a much better effort from Watson and the Browns as a whole in Week 2. Watson threw for 238 yards and two touchdowns, and Cleveland battled back from a 16-6 second-half deficit to beat Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers 23-19 in Tampa.

Now we get Cleveland back at home.

This line opened at +3, and as you can see, there appears to be some respected money coming in on the Browns, pushing the number through that very important key number of 3.0.

Last week, I mentioned that Cleveland was a live underdog, and I think that's true again this week. But rather than asking them to win outright, I'd rather take the safer route and use them in a 6-point teaser, giving us additional protection in what I expect to be a competitive game.

Seattle Seahawks (-7.5 to -1.5) vs. Washington Commanders

Seattle gets its starting quarterback back, while Washington will be without theirs. Sam Darnold is officially ready to return after missing Week 2, while Jayden Daniels has been ruled out, leaving Marcus Mariota to start for the Commanders.

Weather could certainly have an impact on this game, with rain and wind potentially becoming a factor, but I'm not going to overthink this one.

Seattle is simply the better football team on both sides of the ball. The Seahawks are 2-0, their defense has yet to allow a single play over 20 yards this season and their starting quarterback returns against a Washington team already dealing with several key injuries.

Sometimes the simplest handicap is the right one.

Detroit Lions (-6.5 to -0.5) vs. New York Jets

This New York Jets team has definitely improved. Detroit certainly has its own issues. The Lions are still dealing with injuries, particularly in the secondary, and their defense has been downright abysmal through the first two weeks, allowing 35.5 points and 457.5 yards per game.

But after getting their butts kicked by the Buffalo Bills last week, I expect a much better effort from Dan Campbell's team back at Ford Field.

Tease Detroit down, and all we need is an outright win at home.

New England Patriots (+3 to +9) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

I wasn't overly impressed with Jacksonville's Week 1 win over Cleveland. They took advantage of a Browns team playing under a completely new system for the first time in years, with Deshaun Watson playing his first meaningful NFL football in nearly two years.

In Week 2, Jacksonville stepped up in competition against a much more formidable Denver team - and was served a little humble pie.

The Jaguars blew a 13-3 second-half lead, failed to score another point the rest of the way and ultimately fell 20-13.

Now they get another physical, scrappy opponent in the New England Patriots.

New England may not be one of those flashy, high-scoring teams, but they're physical, they play defense and they're built to make you earn everything. That defense is coming off a performance in which it held Pittsburgh to just three points.

I think Jacksonville ultimately finds a way to win this game at home, but I don't see them running away with it. This feels like a one-score game from start to finish, which makes Drake Maye and the Patriots an ideal teaser leg.
