Best NFL PrizePicks Player Predictions
Let's get things started with the game of the week between the Ravens (1-2) and the Chiefs (1-2), where both teams are trying to avoid a 1-3 start to the campaign. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO.
The Ravens were expected to be a top-tier defensive unit in 2025, but that simply hasn't taken form through three weeks. Instead, Baltimore has been gashed for 32 points per game (31st). They just gave up 224 rushing yards on the ground to Detroit in Monday's 38-30 home loss. According to Wednesday's injury report, the Ravens were still without key run-stopping defensive lineman Nnamdi Madubuike, who is dealing with a neck injury.
I preface with the Madubuike injury and Baltimore's inability to stop the run because I expect Kansas City to pound the football in this game. In turn, this should limit Patrick Mahomes' passing attempts and completions. I'm taking the less than on Mahomes' completions on Sunday afternoon. He has only cleared the threshold once this season (24, 16, 22), as well as once in the last six games dating back to last year's playoffs. In one head-to-head meeting with the Ravens in 2024, Mahomes logged only 20 completions.
The Bears (1-2) notched their first win under Ben Johnson last weekend, and they'll try to keep things rolling when they take on the Raiders (1-2) in Sin City on Sunday. This cross-conference clash gets underway at 4:25 p.m. ET from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV.
Caleb Williams had a breakout performance on Sunday, shredding the Cowboys for 298 passing yards and four touchdown passes. The second-year quarterback out of USC has two consecutive multi-touchdown games, and I'm betting he'll log a third on Sunday against the Raiders' questionable defense. He's second in the NFL in passing touchdowns (seven) this season.
Williams and this dangerous receiving group will look to pick apart a Las Vegas defense allowing 1.3 touchdown passes per game (10th). The Raiders are 24th in opposing completion rate (68.09%), and Pro Football Focus (PFF) has awarded them a pass coverage grade of just 48.9 (25th) this season. I think the crafty Johnson will scheme up a few passing touchdowns for his young quarterback on Sunday afternoon in Vegas.
The opener of Monday Night Football's doubleheader pits the Jets (0-3) against the Dolphins (0-3) in a battle of winless teams. Kick-off is set for 7:15 p.m. ET from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Someone has to win this game on Monday night, and I think we'll see the Dolphins finally break into the win column at home. There has been plenty of Tua Tagovailoa slander so far in 2025, and while it's rightfully deserved, I do think this is a great buy-low spot on the Fins and their explosive offense. Tagovailoa and Miami's offense should put up some big numbers on Monday, so I'm going to play Tyreek Hill to clear this receiving yardage number.
New York has been horrendous defensively, ranking 30th in PFF’s pass coverage metric (42.8). They're 17th in opposing pass completion rate (65.12%) and are allowing 11.1 yards per pass completion (27th). The Jets are also just 28th in PFF's pass rush metric (62.3), which I believe is the most important metric for this player prediction. Should Tagovailoa have time in the pocket, it'll allow his speedy receiving group to get open and amass chunk plays. I'll take Hill to go for 62+ receiving yards, which he has done once in his last two games (49, 109).
