It was another solid week for betting on upsets in the NFL last weekend, with underdogs going 5-9-1 outright and 8-7 ATS. Favorites won 71% of games outright (49-29-1), but underdogs went 42-34-3 ATS. So, what are the best NFL underdog bets this week?
There are several strong candidates, but here are my top NFL underdog bets for Week 6.

NFL Week 6 Picks & Predictions: Underdog Bets
(All bets are one unit unless otherwise specified)
Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Houston has been much maligned at this stage of the season, and for good reason. They've been a disappointment on both sides of the ball. But they've quietly been getting it back together on defense and currently rank No. 11 overall and No. 3 against the run. Philly's defense woke up against the Jaguars last week and kept Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville offense in check for most of the game.
Houston will need to do something similar to have a chance to pull off an upset.
Houston's offense didn't look great against a bad Titans team last week, but it put points on the board and did enough to win. With some help from the defense, the Texans could be in a position to win this one late.
Pick: Texans Moneyline (+120 at DraftKings)
Chicago Bears vs. Atlanta Falcons
This game will come down to one thing: the quarterbacks. Both are expected to have their QB1s this week, barring any setbacks. Neither offense is the same without their starter, which makes it hard to pick a winner if both are out. But if both are in, it doesn't necessarily get any easier. The running game is a big part of both teams’ offenses.
Atlanta, however, has been tough to run on (80.2 yards per game allowed, No. 4).
If the Falcons D does its job and the offense gets Bijan Robinson on track, Atlanta could pull off an upset.
Pick: Falcons Moneyline (+104 at FanDuel)
Carolina Panthers vs. Philadelphia Eagles
It all depends on which versions of each team that shows up for the game. Will it be the Panthers that crushed the Falcons and beat the Lions or the one that couldn't handle the Cleveland Browns? As for the Eagles, injuries are taking a toll, but with how well the defense played last week, they were in a position to beat the Jaguars.
Jalen Hurts wasn't great, but he made several late plays that put the Eagles in position to win.
Carolina has been capable but unreliable all season. If the Philly defense shows up, the Eagles will keep it close and be in position to win late.
Pick: Eagles Moneyline (-102 at Caesars)
