NFL Week 7 Anytime TD Scorer & Win Parlays
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Los Angeles Rams at Las Vegas Raiders
- Leg 1: Rams Moneyline (-175)
- Leg 2: Tyler Higbee Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+200)
Let's start off our touchdown & win parlays with the Raiders hosting the Rams. Vibes are way down for Los Angeles after a 2-4 start to the season. Back-to-back losses to the Bills and Cardinals have come in very different ways. Now, the Rams are dealing with multiple key injuries as they head into this road trip to Las Vegas.
Despite all of the negativity, the Rams are in a prime position to rebound and win this week. The Raiders have now lost three straight after their 3-0 start to the year. The defense has been the main culprit, allowing 36 points per game in this losing streak. Las Vegas is also allowing the fourth-most total yards per game this season.
Los Angeles should get back into the win column against this struggling Raiders squad. Notably, the Rams' last three losses have each been one-score games that could've gone either way. This could easily be a 5-1 team. Conversely, the Raiders' record deserves context. Their three wins have been against the Dolphins, Chargers and Saints - who have a combined 2-15 record.
As we count on the Rams to win, let's hope Tyler Higbee contributes to the scoring. The Raiders have allowed six receiving touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season, the third-most in the league. Higbee was quiet last week with only 22 yards, but he had 60+ yards in three straight games prior.
The matchup is favorable, but the Rams' injury situation also suggests Higbee should be more involved. Davante Adams is out, and Puka Nacua is questionable this week. That points to more red-zone targets for Higbee, who can get back to scoring as he did in Week 3.
Parlay Odds: +325
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers
- Leg 1: Buccaneers Moneyline (+115)
- Leg 2: Bucky Irving Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+130)
Let's head out to Carolina for our second parlay. The Buccaneers and Panthers are seemingly headed in opposite directions ahead of this divisional matchup. Tampa Bay is 1-5 in what looks like a lost season. Meanwhile, Carolina is riding high with a 3-2 record and a first-place standing in the NFC South.
This is a classic buy-low, sell-high opportunity. It's an impressive start to the season for the Panthers, but the wins deserve context. Last week, Carolina handled a short-handed, struggling Eagles team without Jalen Hurts, who were still nursing a travel hangover from their prior London trip. The Panthers also faced Detroit's terrible defense at home. Plus, they got a break by facing Atlanta with Cooper Rush at quarterback.
Meanwhile, Carolina lost to Chicago in a Week 1 blowout. It's an easy result to forget, but it shouldn’t be overlooked. The Panthers also lost on the road to Cleveland, a team that's off to a similarly surprising start. Tougher matchups are looming, like this sneaky one against Tampa Bay.
As for the Buccaneers, their 1-5 record can be deceiving. They’ve lost all five games by seven points or fewer. Most of those were toss-up games, too. Tampa lost to Pittsburgh in overtime last week and played both Green Bay and Minnesota tight in prior matchups. The Buccaneers now get Baker Mayfield back from injury, which should boost the offense. Let's buy low.
The Panthers' run defense is a big worry right now. Carolina is allowing a league-high 5.1 yards per carry and the sixth-most rushing yards per game. It's a favorable spot for Bucky Irving, who should be a focal point of the Tampa Bay offense this week.
Irving is averaging 81.4 rushing yards and 17.5 carries per game over the past five games. He's also averaging 4.7 yards per carry this year. Tampa should feed their tailback against this struggling Carolina run defense. On that note, the Panthers have allowed six rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs so far, tied for the third-most in the league.
Parlay Odds: +276
