Over the last five weeks, the Eagles and Bengals have gone 3-2, with wins over the Giants and Bengals in that span. Despite these parallels, I'm leaning toward the Eagles in this matchup. Much of that confidence comes from the Eagles’ solid run defense and improving pass defense over the past two weeks.
The key matchup I'll watch is the Bengals' run defense against the Eagles' rushing attack. Ranked in the league’s bottom half, the Bengals have allowed an average of 136.1 rushing yards per game this season. In contrast, the Eagles rank second in rushing, averaging 166.7 yards per game.
In their last five games, the Bengals have allowed seven rushing touchdowns to running backs and over 100 yards rushing in four games. Given Saquon Barkley’s strong season, with 658 yards on 108 carries and six total touchdowns, I expect another standout performance from him.
