Vegas dropped their first game of the series in a defensive battle after losing a lead late in the third and then the game in overtime. It felt like they played with less urgency, even with only a one-goal lead, allowing Florida to rise up and come through in the big moment.
One player for Vegas that continues to come up clutch in this series is Jack Eichel. We keep betting that we get an assist, and he keeps coming through for us. He now has five assists in the series, and has at least one in nine of his last 11 games.
Vegas is 4-1 after a loss, and even with how well the Panthers played in this game, they were one puck hitting the crossbar away from going down 3-0. Vegas just needs to play hard from the first puck drop to the final horn because they have the talent to grab a victory.
