The Oakland Raiders are coming off an embarrassing road loss, falling 34-3 to the Jets. This loss marks the third straight road loss for the Raiders, who hit the road to play in Kansas City. In last week’s game, quarterback Derek Carr was benched after looking more like last season’s Carr than this year. The passing game as a whole for Oakland this season has been competent, but it’s the running game that has been at the center of the Raiders’ success. Through 11 games, rookie running back Josh Jacobs has run for 957 yards and seven touchdowns. He will be relied on heavily in this game, as the Raiders attempt to keep the high-powered Chiefs offense off the field. The Chiefs are coming off a bye, following their 24-17 win over the Chargers in Mexico. The bye week came at a good time, helping to get their pass-catchers healthy, as well as giving Patrick Mahomes’ knee a bit more time to heal, though he has not looked too limited with it.
