Let's pick it up bright and early on Sunday morning when we have an entertaining matchup between Chelsea and Leicester on the docket. The hosting Blues come into the weekend in fifth place at 13-7-7 (46 points), while the Foxes are below the relegation line in 19th place (4-5-18, 17 points). Kickoff is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. ET from Stamford Bridge in London.
From this point on, every match is a pivotal one for Chelsea, as they're trying to earn a top-four spot in the table. They're just one point behind fourth-place Manchester City at the moment. With their home fans behind them and a matchup against the second-worst team in the league, we should see Enzo Maresca's men pour it on the visitors. I'm going to lay the 2.0 goals with the Blues in this Sunday morning opener.
Rarely do I lay this many goals, but considering the circumstances and teams playing, I think it makes sense. Leicester is in the midst of an 0-0-4 run, where they've been out-scored 12-0. They've lost all of those games by 2+ goals. The Foxes own the second-worst overall defense (61 goals allowed), while ranking third in xGA (50.8). Meanwhile, Chelsea is fourth offensively (52 goals), averaging just under 2.0 goals per game (1.9). The hosts should have no issue running up the score at home.
