Dejounte Murray is going off right now. He’s hit at least 20 points in seven straight games. On the season, he’s nailed 20 or more points in 59% of games, and over the last 20 games, he’s scored 20 points in 60% of games. Don’t try to fix what’s not broken. Murray is dominating right now.
Meanwhile, Trae Young isn’t known for his rebounding. But his rebound prop is a little bit low at 2.5. Young has hit three rebounds in three straight games and four of his last five games. He’s on the floor so much that the ball will eventually find him here and there.
Lastly, John Collins has averaged 1.2 threes per game in January. We can add his line in here to finish up the parlay. He’s nailed at least one three in each of his last five games and eight of his last ten.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Boston Celtics
The Knicks-Nets rivalry is fun. But there’s nothing like the Lakers-Celtics rivalry. The history between these two teams is incredible.
Boston, again, is coming off a loss to the Knicks. But the Celtics clawed back in that game to even get overtime in the first place. Boston has lost three straight games, but with a home game against a below .500 Lakers team, the Celtics should be able to get back on track.
The Celtics have held teams to 24% offensive rebounds this season. That’s the top rate in the NBA on the defensive end. Meanwhile, the Lakers aren’t very active on the glass and probably won’t get many second chances. The Lakers are above average at getting to the foul line, but the Celtics also lead the NBA in defensive free throw rate.
On the flip side, the Celtics won’t dominate the offensive glass either and can limit turnovers just as well. The Lakers are also limiting foul shots this season and are still holding opponents to a 54.4% effective field goal percentage.
This game should be a bit closer. Boston knocked off the Lakers, 122-118, in overtime the last time they faced. But I still like the Under 236 in this matchup and think neither team gets close to 120.

First Basket Scorer
New York Knicks at Brooklyn Nets
The battle for New York adds another chapter on Saturday with the Knicks traveling to Brooklyn to take on the Nets. Brooklyn has been very successful when it comes to First Baskets because they've been able to score their first field goal in less than two attempts on average.
There are two Nets that I'm focusing on due to matchups with the Knicks. The first is Kyrie Irving. Irving has been the team's leading scorer with Durant out of the lineup, but this hasn't really translated to First Baskets. The matchup with New York is interesting, however, because they give up 25% of their first field goals to point guards. A lack of attempt volume has led to low First Basket output for Kyrie, but a good matchup could be a perfect spot for a volume scorer.
The other player I'm focusing on is Ben Simmons. Simmons has really stepped up in the First Basket scene with Durant out. He has scored the first field goal in three of his last nine starts after doing so in just four of the previous 23. Although Simmons is relatively positionless, he plays a power-forward-type role from a scoring perspective, and the Knicks like to give up first field goals to power forwards as well. Sprinkling a play on the hot hand with a favorable matchup is a solid play for Saturday.

NBA Prop Bets
De’Aaron Fox OVER 23.5 points (-108)
The Kings are the most surprising team this year. With the longest playoff drought of the four major sports, they sit as the third seed. The key reason is they come in with the top-scoring offense.
They have a few playmakers, but Fox is leading the way as the team's top scorer. Tonight he’s facing a Timberwolves team, which has been highly disappointing. For Minnesota, the defense has been average, and the last year's top offense has sunk to the league average.
Fox should take advantage of the shaky perimeter defense that is 15th in Efficient Field Goal Percentage allowed and the fifth-most points to point guards.

College Basketball Game Picks
Ohio State vs. Indiana O/U
Lately, Indiana looks nothing like the abysmal defensive team it was three weeks ago, but we are not convinced its issues are suddenly solved. The Hoosiers had a stretch of five games from mid-December to mid-January, where they allowed at least 84 points to major conference opponents. Since then, Indiana has allowed 59 points per game during a four-game winning streak. However, it has not faced the most complex offenses in that stretch, as the four teams it played ranked seventh, ninth, 12th, and 14th in adjusted offensive efficiency in league play. The Hoosiers will be tested much more by Ohio State and their ninth-ranked adjusted offensive efficiency overall. The Buckeyes are in a great buy-low spot after being held to 64 points or fewer in their last three conference games.
The Over is 8-3-1 in Indiana’s last 12 games overall, and we expect another high-scoring affair tonight.

Buffalo Sabres (+150) vs. Minnesota Wild (-182) | O/U 6.5 (-128/+104)
The Wild are slumping as they've dropped six of their last ten, and those wins came against struggling teams.
The switching of goaltenders has been a successful move. Giving the aging Marc-Andre Fleury rest for Filip Gustavsson, who only played 27 games in his first seasons in Ottawa, is the smart move they should ride. Fleury has played two straight, so it should be Gustavsson behind the net tonight.
Gustavsson is making a case as the goalie for the future with a fifth-best 2.27 goals allowed.
They need the defense to regain momentum with an offense that sits in the middle in goals scored.
The Sabres are the best offenses in the league, scoring the most points per game. Tage Thompson has been a big part of that, with his 34 goals being third-best, and they have four forwards with at least 40 points.
Defenseman Rasmus Dahlin has been on fire lately, with multiple points in three of his five, and is now sixth in assists.
It was likely that Minnesota strategically held out Gustavsson all week for this opponent. The Sabres out-powered the Wild 6-5 with Fleury behind the net. Still expect a high-scoring game, but Minnesota can pull it off this time.
