The 2025 Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) has two games on Friday’s slate.
We have a doubleheader on ION, with the Dallas Wings and Atlanta Dream battling at 7:30 p.m. ET, while the Indiana Fever and Los Angeles Sparks square off at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Dallas Wings (+880) at Atlanta Dream (-1800) | O/U 165 (-112/-108)
The Wings (9-30) and Dream (24-14) meet at Gateway Center Arena, and it’s two teams going in completely different directions. Dallas is just 4-14 on the road this season, while Atlanta is 12-6 at home.
These teams have met three times this season, with the Dream coming away with two wins, including an 83-75 win as 7.5-point favorites on May 24th in the first and only meeting in Georgia. The under is 2-1 in three meetings and cashed (169.5) in their only meeting at Gateway Center.
In the most recent meeting on July 30th, Atlanta edged Dallas 88-85 in Dallas, although the Wings covered as a 4-point underdog as the over (165.5) connected. Atlanta shot 52.4% (33-of-63) from the field, while hitting 42.3% (11-of-26) from behind the three-point line. Atlanta had balanced scoring, too, as Allisha Gray went for 15 points, Brionna Jones had 14 points and Maya Caldwell posted 13. Rookie Te-Hina Paopao ended up with 11 points, eight rebounds and six assists in a start. Naz Hillmon was red-hot off the bench, posting 21 points, including going 5-of-7 from behind the arc.
Rookie Paige Bueckers was good for 21 points and seven assists in 35 minutes, hitting three times from downtown. Luisa Geiselsoder ended up with three triples, too, finishing with 13 points, four rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes.
Dallas has lost six games in a row, while going just 1-4 against the spread (ATS) in the past five games. The over is 4-2 in the previous six outings, too.
For Atlanta, it is looking to rebound after an 81-75 loss as a 3.5-point favorite over the Las Vegas Aces, as the under (162.5) cashed. The Dream are 9-3 straight up (SU) in the past 12 games, and the run started in that July 30th game against the Wings. The Dream are 8-2-1 ATS across the previous 11 games, while cashing low on the total in nine straight contests.
Let’s back the Wings catching a huge amount of points. Dallas is 3-1 ATS in the past four games as an underdog of 9.5 points or more. Even though the Wings are defensively-challenged, we have to back the under, as the Dream have hit low in nine in a row.

Indiana Fever (+108) at Los Angeles Sparks (-132) | O/U 179.5 (-108/-112)
The Fever (21-18) and Sparks (17-19) meet at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles in the second end of the doubleheader.
L.A. has won and covered all three of the meetings this season, while cashing the over in two. L.A. is 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS in the past five in the series, while covering seven of the past eight meetings since July 27th, 2023.
In the most recent meeting on August 5th, the Sparks rolled up a 100-91 victory. L.A. shot 56.1% (37-of-66) and 50% (13-of-26) from behind the three-point line, while cashing in at an 86.7% clip (13-of-15) from the free-throw line. Kelsey Plum and Rickea Jackson each paced the team with 25 points, and both players were 3-of-5 from downtown. Plum also added 11 assists for the double-double, while Azura Stevens was an impressive 7-of-8 from the field, hitting all five of her shots from beyond the arc. She finished with 19 points, while also adding a pair of blocked shots.
The Fever hit 44.2% (34-of-77) from the field and 36.4% (12-of-33) from distance. Indiana turned it over just four times. However, it was -5 in the rebounding category. Kelsey Mitchell tore it up with 34 points, including seven made threes. Natasha Howard had 17 points, Aliyah Boston had 15 points and nine boards, while Aari McDonald had 15 points. She has since suffered an injury, and we won’t see her in this one, nor will Sophie Cunningham play after scoring eight points in 26 minutes in the last meeting.
Indiana had just two points off the bench, as Damiris Dantas was the only scorer on 1-of-4 shooting in six minutes. The Fever was 1-of-11 (9.1%) from the field off the bench.
Indiana is too banged up, while L.A. has dominated this series. Take the Sparks and the over, and feel confident in doing so.
