Arike Ogunbowale Over 23.5 Points (-115)

Whenever any team takes on the Las Vegas Aces, everyone runs and hides from betting on their opponents. But I'm going to challenge that notion tonight. The Aces are not only the fastest team in the WNBA in pace but their defense ranks below average through their first six games. Arike Ogunbowale is averaging over 26 points a game, reaching 40 points at Phoenix a couple of weeks back. Dallas is coming off a long, five-game road trip and has gotten three games off after returning home. The Aces are on the third leg of their road trip and coming off a loss. This team is not an unstoppable juggernaut. This is a solid bet considering the big pace-up spot and how Ogunbowale lines up at home against Vegas. I'm surprised the line doesn't sit closer to 24 or 25 given the matchup. The Notre Dame product has scored 20+ points in every game this season, so I will trust the consistency she offers and bet her over.

Dearica Hamby Under 19.5 Points (-115)

The team I won't back when they're at home is the Los Angeles Sparks. They rank ninth in offensive and defensive efficiency playing on their home court. Minnesota meanwhile comes in with one of the best defenses in the league and a slower pace. Dearica Hamby comes in averaging over 20 points a game but even projecting her out I wouldn't expect her to reach 20. In her five games this year she's done so twice, most recently against Phoenix, who has one of the worst defenses in the country. Both teams playing tonight are slow-paced and Minnesota still brings the Sparks’ pace down. This number doesn't make sense because even her minutes were a bit limited last time out. The line is a little bit juiced but I've seen it at -130 otherwise, so this is still solid value.
