As the summer continues to heat up, so too does the WNBA action. There is a small but intriguing slate of games on Saturday. With that, there are plenty of opportunities for some WNBA player props. Let's take a look at a few of the day’s best prop bets.

Brittney Griner Under 6.5 Rebounds (-154)
Brittney Griner and the Sun take on the Liberty on Saturday. It's a matchup the Liberty will likely win comfortably. Because of this, it's a good bet to look into fading Connecticut props. One in particular that I will be looking at involves Griner's rebounds.
Griner is averaging just 5.8 rebounds per game this season, yet this number is set at 6.5. She's managed to eclipse this mark in just seven out of the 16 games this season. The Sun are a fairly strong rebounding team, especially on the offensive side. It's a stat driven by their shooting, which is near the bottom of the league in field-goal rate.
However, the Liberty are a bad matchup for the Sun in that aspect. New York has the third-highest defensive rebounding rate in the league and should own the battle of the boards in this matchup. I'll be betting on Griner to go under her rebounding number in this game.
Nneka Ogwumike Under 15.5 Points (-130)
The Sparks will travel to the nation's capital in order to take on the Mystics. Washington has been one of the best defensive teams in the league all season. Their defensive rating is the second-lowest in the league, and they have the best effective field-goal rate (eFG%). This will prove to be an incredibly difficult matchup for Nneka Ogwumike.
In the only other matchup with Washington this season, Ogwumike actually went over on this line. However, it was a very poor shooting performance. She needed 17 attempts from the field to make eight shots, and only half of those makes were assisted. With Ogwumike being one of the focal points of the Sparks’ offense, Washington will look for ways to prevent her from taking shots.
Nneka averages 16.9 points per game, so it can be enticing to go over on this prop with the line set at just 15.5. However, this has already proven to be a bad matchup for Ogwumike. I can see the Mystics bottling her up, and they break out of the defensive funk they've been in and look to shut down the Sparks' offense and Ogwumike in particular.
