Francisco Lindor (+350)
Francisco Lindor has launched two homers in his last five games. Additionally, he’s hit a .229 ISO and a wOBA of .398 against his last 81 righties, batting from the left side. Ultimately, he’ll take on Jake Irvin of the Washington Nationals, who has already allowed a .300 ISO to his last 36 lefties as a right-handed pitcher.
Irvin has also allowed a 17.9% barrel percentage and has given up 64.3% of hard contact to lefties over the last 30 days. Beyond that, he’s recorded only 11.1% of strikeouts against lefties.
Lindor has hit 32% of fly balls and leads the team with a 12% barrel percentage against righties. Let’s ride with the hottest bat in the Mets lineup.
Osleivis Basabe (+750)
The Rockies will turn to Gabriel Hughes, who has had a tough time over the last couple of games. Hughes has shown signs of greatness, but has had a couple of innings that have ruined him.
Anyway, Hughes has allowed a .222 ISO and a wOBA of .373 to his last 41 righties as a right-handed pitcher. He’s given up 36% of fly balls and has earned just 8.8% of swinging strikes against righties over the last month.
Osleivis Basabe can take advantage. Basabe has hit a .303 ISO and a wOBA of .398 against his last 34 righties as a right-handed batter. Basabe isn’t looking to walk when facing righties. Instead, he’s got no walks and 37% of fly balls against righties. I’ll take my chances with Basabe at +750.
John Rave (+600)
You can roll with Carter Jensen or Jac Caglianone in this spot. However, their odds are below +300, so we’re going to ride with John Rave instead. Rave has hit a .208 ISO and a wOBa of .330 against his last 26 righties. He’s also launched 30% of fly balls and has a 15% barrel percentage.
That matches up well against Ryan Johnson of the Angels. Johnson has allowed a .250 ISO and a wOBA of .391 to his last 57 lefties. He’s also given up a 23.1% barrel percentage and has watched the last 57 lefties hit 43.6% of fly balls.
Rave is a sneaky option!
