New York Liberty (-132) at Indiana Fever (+108) | O/U 177.5 (-112/-108)

The Liberty (13-11) meet the Fever (15-10) in what is arguably the marquee matchup of the evening.

New York is 6-6 on the road this season, while Indiana is 9-5 at home. The Liberty won the first meeting on June 6 in Brooklyn, 83-75, while New York covered as 3.5-point favorites with the Under (174.5) coming in. The Liberty have won three in a row in the series, and the home team has covered seven straight in this series since June 2, 2024, while the home team is 9-1 against the spread (ATS) in the past 10 meetings since Aug. 13, 2023.

For Saturday’s game, Leonie Fiebich (foot) is out, while Satou Sabally (concussion) has also been ruled out due to the league’s mandated concussion protocol.

The Fever are playing in a back-to-back situation, so they did not have an injury report available as of time of publishing. It’s a big deal, too, as Aliyah Boston (leg) did not play in Friday’s 110-107 win over the visiting Seattle Storm. However, the Fever did not come close to covering as 8.5-point favorites while the Over (177.5) easily connected. Caitlin Clark certainly tried her best to get that cover, as she hit 11-of-18 from the field, and 6-of-10 from downtown, going for 10 assists, four steals, and two rebounds across 29 minutes, finishing with a career-high 45 points. In fact, it was the first-ever game in WNBA history where a player scored at least 40 points with at least 10 assists. Her four steals also marked a season-best.

Indiana has won three of the past four outings, while going 5-2 straight up (SU) in the past seven games. It has a slight 4-3 ATS edge in the aforementioned seven-game span, while the Over is 4-1 in the past five games, with the Fever scoring at least 92 points in four in a row. The Fever have racked up 84+ points in 13 of the past 14 outings, too. The Over is 9-3 in the past 12 contests.

For New York, since winning the Commissioner’s Cup Final against Las Vegas on Sept. 30, the Liberty have dropped three in a row, while going 1-3 SU and 2-2 ATS. The Over has cashed in three of the past four regular-season games.

The best play of this game is going high on the total. We’ll side with the Liberty, too, as they’ve dominated this series. In addition, while the Fever won and covered its most recent game in Phoenix when playing on no rest July 9, it is not a great play going with Indiana against a tough opponent while playing tired, especially if Boston cannot go.

For the player props, if Boston cannot go, that’s great news for Jonquel Jones. Even if Boston did play, Jones is on fire lately, and playing her to grab a double-double is the way to go. She has four straight double-doubles in July, averaging 14.0 points (PPG) and 12.3 rebounds (RPG) per game.

Washington Mystics (+340) at Golden State Valkyries (-470) | O/U 148.5 (-114/-106)

The Mystics (12-11) and Valkyries (18-7) meet at Chase Center in San Francisco at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Washington heads into this matchup with a 7-5 mark on the road, while Golden State is 10-3 at home, so it rivals the game above, although it lacks the likes of Clark, Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, etc.

Golden State has won all five meetings in this series since the Valkyries came into the league, while they’re also 5-0 ATS in the span. The Over has cashed in two of the past three meetings, although the Under cashed in the first meeting this season. Golden State won 62-49 as 7.5-point favorites while the Under (154.5) hit on July 6 in the nation’s capital.

For the Valkyries, they won despite the fact none of the starters went for more than seven points, and bench player Kaitlyn Chen had 14 points as the only player to reach double digits. GSV managed to win despite shooting just 35% (26-of-74) from the field, and 18% (6-of-34) from behind the arc. It was the 30 rebounds, 14 assists, and 10 steals. Golden State had just five turnovers, too, which was key to victory, as Washington turned it over 14 times.

And, the Mystics shot just 30% (18-of-60) from the field, and 12% (3-of-24) from downtown. The Mystics were able to hang around only because of a plus-11 margin in rebounding. Shakira Austin had 11 points and 11 rebounds with two blocks, while Kiki Iriafen managed 12 points and nine boards. However, the rest of the performances were terrible for Washington.

Golden State enters with eight straight wins, and it is 8-0 ATS in the span, too. The Under has cashed in four in a row, and nine of the past 10 games. However, while the Mystics haven’t shown an ability to beat the Valkyries, catching 9.5 points is an awful lot. Let’s back the Mystics with the points. We’ll go low on the total, too, based on Golden State’s trends, and the first meeting’s result.

We’ll go with Iriafen for the double-double for the losing side, too. She has three double-doubles in five July games, and six double-doubles across the past eight outings. She just missed a double-double in the first meeting with Golden State, too, going for 12 points and nine boards.
