There are three contests across the WNBA this evening. We will be focusing on what should be the game of the night between the New York Liberty and the Indiana Fever. New York Liberty @ Indiana Fever
Leg #1: Kelsey Mitchell & Breanna Stewart Over 47.5+ Combined Points (-111)
Normally, a combined total of 48 points between two players is something we would avoid altogether. Having said that, Kelsey Mitchell and Breanna Stewart are currently scoring at an elite level. Despite the large threshold, this is one of our favorite legs of the parlay.
Stewart is averaging 23.6 points through the last 10 games, while shooting 47% from the field. Stewart is attempting 17.2 shots per contest over that span. The Liberty center scored 23+ points in six of her last 10 games - including 26 against the Fever the last time these two teams met.
Mitchell recently broke the record for most consecutive games with 20+ points (16). She is averaging nearly 28 points over the previous 10 games, while shooting a blistering 57% from the field and 47.9% from three-point range. Mitchell scored 33 points when these teams last met. She is averaging 28.5 points over the last five games played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Leg #2: Sabrina Ionescu 20+ Points + Assists (-302)
We expect Sabrina Ionescu to be on the floor for around 32 minutes tonight in a very high-paced matchup against the Fever.
Ionescu is currently in impressive form, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Liberty constantly playing at an accelerated tempo. Ionescu has recorded 20+ combined points + assists in seven of the last eight contests, while shooting 45.5% from the field and 39.7% from beyond the arc.
The Liberty guard is averaging 23 points and seven assists over the last three games played on the road.
Leg #3: Caitlin Clark 30+ Points + Assists (-175)
We were originally going to take this prop down to 25+. However, the -507 return didn’t make much sense considering we can play it up to 30+ for a much better return.
If this contest were expected to be a much lower-scoring affair, the 25+ would have merit. Losing the extra profit in what is expected to be an absolute shootout doesn't seem like the best course of action.
Caitlin Clark is averaging 23.7 points and 8.7 assists through the last 10 games. The Iowa sensation scored 20+ points in two consecutive contests, while knocking down seven three-pointers. Clark has been on the floor for at least 33 minutes in five straight games - almost seven extra minutes of playing time compared to the previous five games (26.7).
The Fever guard has produced 30+ combined points + assists in five of her last eight games.
Leg #4: Alt Total Over 186.5 Points (-200)
The sportsbooks must have had an extremely difficult time when creating the line for this contest. At first glance, the standard 191.5 total looks somewhat low given the high-scoring prowess of both teams - especially when the Fever are playing on their home court. Indiana is the highest-scoring team in the WNBA at home - the closest opponent is three points behind the Fever (95.9). The Liberty averages the most points of any team when playing on the road (93.6).
Again, the standard 191.5 total is well worth adding to this parlay if you want a heavier return. We are shaving off a few points just in case one team goes into the fourth quarter with a large lead.
If this game seems close going into the fourth, there's a very good chance this game is the closest to the 200-point threshold. The first-quarter lines are not up yet as of this morning. That is also an angle you can attack. The Liberty averages 23.2 points through the first 10 minutes, and the Fever average 25.3 points at home in the first quarter.
DraftKings Sportsbook is offering 30% boosted odds, increasing this SGP from +270 to +351.
