Following a flurry of upsets within the AP Top 25 in Week 1, there’s a lot of value to grab in college football futures betting markets. Specifically focusing on win totals props.

2025 College Football Win Totals Predictions: Week 2

Oklahoma Regular Season Wins
The Oklahoma Sooners get their first real test of 2025 at home in prime-time against No. 14 Michigan on Saturday night. QB John Mateer shredded Illinois State for an 81 percent completion rate, 392 yards and three touchdowns in Week 1.
Wink Martindale’s Wolverine defense is stout but they did surrender some chunk plays against New Mexico this past Saturday. The Sooners’ offense looks much more explosive with Mateer under center in 2025, along with a healthier wide receiving corps.
We’re landing even odds on Oklahoma to finish with eight or more regular season wins. They do play a gauntlet of a schedule, including five ranked teams, excluding Michigan in Week 2.
However, I’m bullish on Mateer to produce points, while head coach Brent Venables takes charge of the Sooners’ defense. Oklahoma should be 3-0 or 2-1 before starting conference play. Wins against Ole Miss, Tennessee, Alabama, and Missouri seem probable, along with a Texas team that looked much more pedestrian than expected in Week 1.
Lock in Oklahoma to go over 7.5 total wins at even money before their Week 2 tilt against Michigan in Norman.

North Carolina Regular Season Wins
This bet may be an overreaction to UNC getting routed by TCU during their home opener on Labor Day. However, there wasn’t much to like about head coach Bill Belichick’s team on either side of the line of scrimmage.
Quarterback play and defensive tackling were both bad. Meanwhile, the Tar Heels play road games against UCF, Cal, Syracuse, Wake Forest and NC State.
Yes, the ACC is largely viewed as the weakest Power 4 conference. However, if UNC’s defense and lack of offensive firepower continue to be an issue, winning half of their games is going to be a challenge.
It’s why oddsmakers have updated the win total to 5.5 as a pick’em on either side of the line. Clemson is the only ranked opponent currently on UNC’s schedule, however, there are other games against teams like Virginia and Duke that could be difficult to win with the execution on display during Week 1.

Kansas Regular Season Wins
I’m not sure why the Kansas Jayhawks, who have been routing their opponents through two games, are only sitting at 7.5 regular season wins. QB Jalon Daniels has built a strong rapport with wideouts Emmanuel Henderson and Cam Pickett, while RB Daniel Hishaw Jr. is averaging nearly 6.0 YPC.
I understand the first two wins were against a Mountain West team and a non-major program like Wagner. However, let’s give the Jayhawks credit for allowing just seven points in each game, while scoring 77 total points on offense.
Missouri is an SEC opponent that Kansas has to face on the road in Week 2. Then, it’s Big 12 conference play against West Virginia and Cincinnati at home. Kansas State, Texas Tech and Iowa State are currently ranked and will be waiting to play the Jayhawks during the final half of their 2025 regular season schedule.
Daniels looks like he’s on a mission and has Heisman Trophy ambitions. The Big 12 is a winnable conference that should lead to the Jayhawks recording at least six more wins by the end of the regular season.
Kansas could easily start their season 6-0 or 5-1. Then, we’ll be in the driver’s seat to cash this over 7.5 total wins ticket at good value. Bet on the Jayhawks to go over 7.5 total wins in 2025.
