Best Prop Bets Today
On top of pinpointing our best prop bets today by star rating, we can take it a step further by identifying which five-star props also have a 100% hit rate over the player's last five games. You can also filter hit rates over the past 15 games, but let's not push our luck.
Xavier Hutchinson Over 19.5 Receiving Yards
Last Week: 2-0 | Season Record: 11-9 | Best Odds: +127 at Polymarket
It may have taken until the Buccaneers’ final drive of the game, but Cade Otton hit the over on both of his props last week, giving us a winning record on the season, yet again. Let’s keep the momentum going.
With no MLB games today and just a couple of WNBA contests scheduled, we’re going to stick with the NFL props for another week. Again, a friendly reminder: Since this is only Week 5, we’ll have to rely a little on last season’s stats to reach our five-game threshold.
The NFL prop bet cheat sheet for Week 5 currently lists 13 player props with a 100% hit rate over the last five games - with just three 5-star bets. Two of those bets are to the under, and no one likes rooting against fun.
So, we’ll set our sights on the one 5-star NFL prop bet to the over - Xavier Hutchinson to go over 19.5 receiving yards.
Hutchinson has cleared the over on his receiving yards prop in four straight games this season, and in eight straight dating back to last season, including the playoffs. He’s averaging 41.5 receiving yards per game this season, with a low of 32 yards in Week 1. During his current eight-game streak to the over, Hutchinson has averaged 42 receiving yards per game. The consensus line for this prop is 15.5 yards, a number he hit in 14 out of 19 games last season for a 73.7% hit rate.
You can even find this prop set at 14.5 yards on DraftKings Sportsbook at -113 odds, a wager you should rush to bet on. Right. Now. Go do it. This is why it always pays to shop around.
Hutchinson and the Texans take on the Tennessee Titans in Week 5. In two head-to-head matchups against Tennessee last season, Hutchinson recorded 17 and 42 yards. So, he cleared the 14.5 and 15.5 line twice, and barely went under the 19.5 total once. The Titans are allowing 167 yards per game to wide receivers this season, and 11 receivers have recorded 20 receiving yards against them in a game.
Based on recent production and trends, including against his Week 5 opponent, and the NFL Prop Bet Cheat Sheet‘s +34% projection EV, Hutchinson is in a great spot to extend his over streak to nine straight games.
