MLB Prop Bet Cheat Sheet

Best Prop Bets Today

On top of pinpointing our top prop bets by star rating, we can take it a step further by identifying which five-star props also have a 100% hit rate over the player's last five games. You can also filter hit rates over the past 15 games, but let's not push our luck.

Brayan Rocchio Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs

Last Week: 1-0 | Season Record: 5-3 | Best Odds: -110 at Fanatics Sportsbook

It only took four innings of work for Tanner Gordon to allow six hits, helping us cash last week’s 5-star bet. He finished his evening with eight hits allowed over five frames. Let’s ride that momentum.

The MLB prop bet cheat sheet today features 33 player props with a 100% hit rate over the last five games - with only three labeled as 5-star bets.

Two of today’s top three 5-star options are in the hits + runs + RBIs combo prop market. We settled on Brayan Rocchio, who hit the over in five straight games prior to the All-Star break.

brayan rocchio

Not only has the Guardians middle infielder gone over 1.5 combined hits + runs + RBIs in five straight games, but he’s done so 12 times in his last 15 games, good for an 80% hit rate.

On the season, Rocchio is averaging 1.8 combined hits + runs + RBIs. Over his last five games, that number doubles to 3.6. During that five-game span, Rocchio has totaled seven hits, four runs and seven RBIs.

roccchio prop

Rocchio hits near the top of the order, which gives him plenty of opportunities to cash this prop, recording no fewer than four at-bats in each of his last five games, with back-to-back outings of five at-bats.

After missing all of 2025, Pirates starter Jared Jones has made eight starts this season, and he’s allowed a combined 5.9 hits + runs per game. Rocchio is a switch-hitter, and Jones has allowed more production to right-handed hitters this season (20 hits, 15 runs), so look for Rocchio to hit from that side of the batter’s box.

Without much hitter versus pitcher data, this is more of a bet on Rocchio’s recent hot streak than anything else. We will put our trust in the MLB prop bet cheat sheet, which projects Rocchio for 2.3 combined hits + runs + RBIs, and that gives him a 68% cover probability to hit the over.
