Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans
There are so many great stories about Anthony Richardson’s work ethic. I appreciate that. But come on! He went 6-6 with Florida last season. Richardson was inaccurate and didn’t lead the Gators to anything exciting last year. Florida lost to Vanderbilt! Now the Colts will just throw him in the fire in Week 1?
Yeah right.
Meanwhile, the Texans will ultimately lose to the Ravens in Week 1. But C.J. Stroud is likely more ahead of schedule than Richardson regarding surveying defenses and making the right reads.
Give me the Texans in Week 2. Once everyone realizes Richardson isn’t ready, they’ll hop on the Texans, too.
