Here are our top MLB picks for Sunday’s slate of baseball action.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Minnesota Twins
The Cincinnati Reds will give the ball to rookie right-hander Rhett Lowder. Lowder isn’t earning a high strikeout rate and has walked 12.7% of batters over the last month. However, he’s still held his first 63 batters to a .019 ISO and wOBA of .253 with more than 47% of ground balls and below 24% of line drives.
However, Lowder won’t have to worry much about walks tonight. He’ll take on a Twins lineup that has walked just 6.2% of the time as a unit against righties over the last 30 days.
Additionally, over the last 30 days, Minnesota has struck out over 22% of the time using the projected lineup against righties.
On the other hand, the Twins will ride out today’s game with David Festa. Festa has struck out nearly 30% of batters over the last 30 days and has held his last 97 batters to a .144 ISO and wOBA of .286. He’s been excellent for the Twins down the stretch and will face a Reds lineup that has only hit a .131 ISO against righties over the last month.
Both pitchers have good enough matchups to keep this game Under the total. Back the Under 8.5 (-105).

San Diego Padres vs. San Francisco Giants
The Giants will run it back with Landen Roupp. He’s a right-handed pitcher who has struck out 24.1% of batters over the last 30 days. Better yet, he’s held his last 58 batters to a .020 ISO and wOBA of .221 with 60% of ground balls and only 20% of fly balls allowed. He’s also earned more than 30% of whiffs.
While the Padres don’t strike out at a super high rate against righties, the lineup has rarely walked and has hit a .183 ISO and wOBA of .325 over the last month. These are average numbers for San Diego.
Meanwhile, the Padres will give Martin Perez the ball today. Perez is a veteran lefty who has held his last 86 batters to a .143 ISO. He’s only allowed 34.8% of hard contact and has limited walks to 9.3% over the previous month.
He’ll battle a Giants’ projected lineup with six players hitting an ISO of no better than .067 against lefties. The lineup also has seven players with a wOBA of no better than .280 against lefties.
In addition, the Giants’ projected lineup has struck out more than 25% of the time against lefties in the last month and have waked only 3.9%.
Perez should cruise against the Giants tonight. Let’s also take the Under in this one as well.
