Each day, Joe Pisapia, Chris Welsh, Mike Maher and Kelly Kirby will each take their favorite MLB bet of the day (moneyline, run line, over/under, prop bet, etc.) and combine all four picks into our “Parlay of the Day.” We’ll be leveraging the tools, reports, and analysis at BettingPros, especially the MLB Prop Bet Cheat Sheet, Parlay Calculator, and the MLB Prop Bet Analyzer, which are great for identifying trends and determining expected value.
With a daily four-leg parlay, the odds will usually be long. But that lower hit rate comes with a significantly higher payout, so we only need to hit one of these every now and then in order to stay profitable.

- Joe Pisapia’s Pick: Rangers ML (-106)
- Chris Welsh’s Pick: Luis Ortiz O 4.5 Strikeouts (-110)
- Mike Maher’s Pick: Dodgers ML (-200)
- Kelly Kirby’s Pick: Padres -1.5 (+100)
Parlay Odds: +1013
I’m going with the chalk with Dodgers -200, so I’ll probably be the one to blow up this parlay. Welsh is going with a Luis Ortiz strikeouts prop and is taking the OVER despite Ortiz only striking out one batter in his first start this season. However, Ortiz has hit this number in three of his last five starts dating back to last season (visual below). “Plus Money Wonky” is taking the Padres run line, while Joey P is targeting Jared Shuster and the Braves by taking the Rangers ML at -106. For what it’s worth, my model has the Braves (as in, the opposite of Joe’s pick) as the best moneyline bet for today. So, maybe try out this parlay but hedge by taking the Braves straight up?
