MLB Player Prop Bets: Jonathan India, Matt Olson, Jorge Soler (Friday)

Friday’s Best MLB Player Props

Jorge Soler Over 1.5 Total Bases (-120)

Jorge Soler has hit a .317 ISO and wOBA of .442 against his last 79 righties. He’s also smacked 37.8% of fly balls and 37.8% of line drives and has hit 42.2% hard contact against righties over the last month.

Tonight, he’ll face Trevor Williams of the Nationals. Williams has allowed a .319 ISO and wOBA of .372 to his last 52 righties. Righties have a .280 ISO and wOBA of .350 this season against Williams.

Williams is allowing righties to hit over 34% of fly balls, giving up close to 26% of line drives with nearly 49% of hard contact over the last 30 days.

Soler will bat in the two-spot tonight and should get plenty of opportunity to hit two base hits or earn an extra-base hit.

Matt Olson Over 1.5 Total Bases (-115)

The Braves are playing the Rockies in their home ballpark. It’s not Coors Field. However, they’ll also face Dinelson Lamet, who has allowed an ISO of .316 and wOBA of .602 to his last 22 lefties faced this season.

Lamet has pitched against 50 lefties this season and still has a .310 ISO and wOBA of .501. His stats might be skewed a little bit with a couple of games in Colorado. But these inflated numbers are brutal and can’t be looked past.

Meanwhile, Matt Olson, a lefty, is hitting a .286 ISO and wOBA of .362 against his last 97 righties. Olson has hit 34.5% of line drives and 34.5% of fly balls, with 74.1% of hard contact against righties in the last month.

Any hard-hit ball into the outfield could result in extra-base hits and roll to the wall.

Lamet has allowed 73.3% of hard contact against lefties over the last 30 days and is giving up 26.7% of line drives while only inducing 33.3% of ground balls.

Jonathan India Over 1.5 Hits (+260)

Jonathan India has hit a .179 ISO and wOBA of .323 against his last 87 righties faced. He’s also struck out just 16.1% of the time against righties in the last month.

He’ll face JP France, who has allowed a .323 ISO and wOBA of .406 to his last 66 righties. France is a righty who has struggled more against righties this season. France has allowed a .288 ISO and wOBA of .391 to 78 righties this year.

France has allowed 37.3% of fly balls and 54.9% of hard contact against righties in the last 30 days. He’s also rarely getting swings and misses against righties.

India is going to put the ball in play, and he’s going to keep the ball off the ground. Therefore, a couple of base hits into the outfield are in play. This isn’t soccer, but I’m taking India to beat France.
