Game 4 of the NBA Finals will be played on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden, with the Knicks looking for a commanding 3-1 series lead. While I don't pick a team to win this game as part of my parlay, I do love one team in the first quarter tonight. I also highlight why I expect both defenses to be at their best in this game, and why Karl-Anthony Towns is in line for a solid performance after a tough Game 3. Here are the best NBA Finals same game parlays (SGPs) and picks for Game 4.

Spurs at Knicks Same Game Parlay
Leg #1: Under 216.5 Points (-108)
After the first two games in the series went for 209 points or fewer, these two offenses "exploded" for 226 points in Game 3. Yet, when all was said and done, oddsmakers set the total for Game 4 at 215.5. The public has expectedly jumped all over the over, but I'm backing the under to hit for the third time in four games.
The Knicks have now played 17 postseason games, and they've allowed more than 110 points just twice. They're giving up an average of just 101.3 points per game. Meanwhile, the Spurs’ defense has been incredibly impressive this postseason. They're allowing just 105.3 points per game, and they have held the Knicks to 105 points twice in this series.
Leg #2: Karl-Anthony Towns Over 11.5 Rebounds (-102)
Karl-Anthony Towns was incredible in the first two games of the series, and heading back to New York, there were serious conversations about naming him the NBA Finals MVP. However, Game 3 was a struggle for him. He shot just 40% from the floor, scored only 11 points and pulled down only eight rebounds.
But I'm expecting a bounce-back game for Towns. He has recorded at least 12 rebounds in five of his last seven games. Towns hasn't grabbed fewer than eight rebounds in a game since he played only 20 minutes in Game 4 against the 76ers. And the last time he grabbed fewer than 10 boards in a contest, he followed it up with a 14-rebound game.
Leg #3: Knicks First-Quarter Moneyline (-110)
The Spurs have dominated every first quarter in this series:
- In Game 1, they led 27-19.
- In Game 2, they led 34-25.
- In Game 3, they led 33-22.
Why take the Knicks to win the first quarter in Game 4? Simply because of the circumstances surrounding this game.
The Knicks have been a great second-quarter team this series. But after a disappointing loss in Game 3, I expect them to play with a different level of focus early than we've seen at any other point in this series. They're at home, where their first-quarter margin this season is +3, the fifth-best mark in the league. I expect the team to play a little desperate early, as they try to take a 3-1 series lead back to San Antonio.
