NFL Week 5 Player Props: Eagles vs. Jaguars
NFL odds courtesy of Fanatics Sportsbook | All wagers are for 1 unit
Bhayshul Tuten Over 9.5 Receiving Yards (-112)
Bhayshul Tuten has recorded at least 17 receiving yards in back-to-back games leading up to this one. He’s also added at least two receptions in three straight games. Tuten has earned at least 17 receiving yards in three of the first four games and has averaged 13.5 receiving yards this season. In those three games in which he hit that number, Tuten has earned at least nine yards on a reception.
The Eagles don’t make it easy in the short game, but we’re only looking for a couple of catches from Tuten to go over 9.5 receiving yards. Let’s give him a try.
Parker Washington Under 60.5 Receiving Yards (+111)
Parker Washington started the season with a bang. But he’s come back down to life over the last two games. Washington has just 47 receiving yards in his last two games, including seven yards against Cincinnati last time out.
Meanwhile, the Eagles have allowed the ninth-fewest yards to No. 1 WRs this season. He’s averaged 57 yards per game this season, below his prop total of 60.5.
In his last game against the Eagles, Washington added just 41 receiving yards on three catches. As long as the Eagles keep Washington in front of them, they’ll be alright. Let’s bet on Washington to go under 60.5 receiving yards.
Will Shipley Under 35.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
With Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby injured, the Eagles are left with Will Shipley at running back. He’s not new to the team, but he’ll be new to his No.1 RB role this weekend.
Shipley hasn’t had many opportunities to rush the football. But when he does, he doesn’t take advantage. He hasn’t rushed for more than 24 yards in any game this season, while averaging about four carries a game.
Additionally, the Jaguars have allowed the third-fewest 20+ yard runs this season. Shipley will likely be denied in the run game in London. Give me his under to close out this player prop article.
